Chaya Photographic Club (CPC) was founded in June, 2013 by a group of graduating course (BBA) students. It progressed from a small group using a makeshift darkroom till today and wish to have the biggest darkroom among all photographic societies and clubs in Bangladesh.!!! About CPC:
Photography (derived from the Greek phot- for "light" and -graphos for "drawing") is the art, science, and practice
of creating durable images by recording light or other electromagnetic radiation, either chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film, or electronically by means of an image sensor. The aim of the club is to broaden the photographic interests of its members (students of all form), and to provide education, guidance, competition and social interaction in a friendly, relaxed and informal environment. The club is a non profit organisation run by volunteers who all have a passion for photography, and the majority of our members are what’s called “recreational photographers” who take their photographs purely for their own enjoyment. If the idea of joining a friendly club with photography as its common interest or, if you wish to join as a stimulant for personal excellence in photography, the Chaya Photographic Club would be ideal for you. We would love to see you, so please feel free to attend any time you wish...!!!
