IELTS করতে চাচ্ছেনতো? তাহলে একটু ভালো করে খেয়াল করুন।
IELTS এ Listening, Reading, Writing এবং Speaking এই ৪ টি মডিউলের টেস্ট হয় এইটা আমরা সবাই জানি। যারা ইংলিশ মিডিয়াম অথবা ইংলিশ ভার্সনের স্টুডেন্ট তাদের জন্য এই মডিউগুলাতে ভালো স্কোর করা কোন সমস্যা না। আবার কেউ কেউ বাংলা মিডিয়ামে পড়াশুনা করলেও চর্চার কারনে তাদের ইংলিশের লেভেল বেশ ভালো। তাদের জন্যেও ভালো স্কোর করা তেমন সমস্যা না।
আপনি যদি এই দুই দলের না হয়ে থাকেন তবে হুট করে IELTS কোর্সে ভর্তি হয়ে যাওয়াটা বোকামি হবে। আপনার স্বপ্নের দেশে গ্র্যাজুয়েশন বা পোস্ট গ্র্যাজুয়েশন করতে হলে মিনিমাম 6 অথবা 6.5 লাগবে যেটা তোলা আপনার পক্ষে প্রায় অসম্ভব হবে। এবং অযথা টাকা, সময় এবং শ্রম নষ্ট হয়। অনেকেই শেষপর্যন্ত আর পরীক্ষাই দেননা।
অনেকে আবার IELTS এর আগে Spoken English কোর্স করলে ভালো হবে মনে করেন এবং ভর্তিও হোন। কিন্তু দেখা যায় IELTS এ Speaking Module ছাড়া অন্য ক্ষেত্রে এই কোর্স কোন কাজেই আসেনা।
সব বিবেচনা করে আমি দেখেছি যারা ইংরেজিতে দূর্বল তাদের জন্য এমন একটি কোর্স দরকার যা Complete করলে IELTS করা অনেক সহজ হয়ে যাবে। আমি সেটার নাম দিয়েছি Pre-Preparation of IELTS। অর্থাৎ IELTS এর পূর্ব-প্রস্তুতি।
এই কোর্সটিতে এমন কিছু আছে যা আপনার Speaking, Reading, Writing এবং Listening দক্ষতাকে IELTS এর উপযোগী করে দেবে। পরবর্তিতে আপনি যখন IELTS করবেন, দেখবেন বেশ সহজ লাগবে।
