লিডিং ইউনিভার্সিটি ডিবেটিং ক্লাবের বহুল প্রতীক্ষিত "ফ্রেশার'স রিসেপশন ও জেনারেল মিটিং" প্রস্তুত তো সবাই?
দিনটি স্মরণীয় করে রাখতে থাকছে জমজমাট দুটি বিতর্ক পর্ব। একদিকে শিক্ষক বনাম শিক্ষার্থীদের মাঝে "রোমান্টিকতা, এখানে আমরাই সেরা!" বিতর্ক, অন্যদিকে নিজ বিভাগকে সেরা প্রমাণের লড়াইয়ে নামবে CSE,LAW,BBA,English ডিপার্টমেন্ট।

এই আনন্দঘন মুহূর্তের সাক্ষী হতে চলে আসুন।

দেখা হচ্ছে আগামীকাল , ০৩ জুলাই, ঠিক সকাল ১১টায়, গ্যালারী-১ এ। সকলের উপস্থিতি একান্ত কাম্য।

LUDC family is proudly announcing that LUDC - অনুসূর্য consisting of Arif Hasan & Shams Abhiruzzaman Shium has broke 3rd in the tab round of MDS Multiverse National Debate - 2025, IV BP(Bangla) and ended their journey as the semi-finalists.

We congratulate on their achievement!

With profound pride and sincere gratitude, we take this opportunity to introduce the true guiding force of the Leading University Debating Club—Md. Jamaner Rahaman Sir.

More than just an Advisor in name, he is the heartbeat of LUDC—calm, steady, and ever-resilient in the face of challenges. It was under his unwavering guidance that LUDC made the bold decision to host the first-ever National Debate Competition in the Sylhet region—an ambitious dream that was turned into an unforgettable reality.

Whenever challenges emerge, Sir listens with patience and empathy, treating each concern with personal care. His counsel goes beyond mere advice; it is a reflection of deep commitment, heartfelt concern, and wise foresight. Time and again, even amidst personal commitments or difficult circumstances, he has placed the well-being of this club above all else—a testament to his extraordinary devotion.

Sir is approachable, kind, and endlessly supportive—whether it’s a late-night dilemma or a critical decision. His student-friendly nature makes him someone everyone feels safe approaching, confident that their voice will be heard and their problems met with genuine understanding and meaningful solutions. He has built a nurturing space within LUDC where every member feels respected, supported, and empowered. Regardless of the time or situation, Sir is always there—with thoughtful insight, encouragement, and calm leadership.

To us, he is not just an Advisor—he is family. He holds this club close to his heart and has nurtured it with compassion, wisdom, and unwavering belief in its mission. His presence gives us the strength to move forward, no matter how steep the climb may be.

We are truly privileged to have Md. Jamaner Rahman Sir as our mentor and guide. Through his continued support and selfless dedication, LUDC is not just a debating club—it is a family, a safe haven, a place of growth. তিনি কেবল একজন উপদেষ্টা নন—তিনি এই ক্লাবের প্রাণ। যেকোনো চ্যালেঞ্জের মুখে তিনি যেমন স্থির, তেমনি আশ্বাসদায়ক। তাঁর দৃঢ় নেতৃত্বেই LUDC সাহসিকতার সঙ্গে সিলেট অঞ্চলে প্রথমবারের মতো জাতীয় বিতর্ক প্রতিযোগিতা আয়োজনের সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছিল—যা সফলভাবে বাস্তবায়িত হয়েছিল।

যখনই কোনো সমস্যা দেখা দেয়, স্যার মনোযোগ দিয়ে শোনেন, প্রতিটি বিষয়কে নিজের মতো করে গুরুত্ব দিয়ে বোঝার চেষ্টা করেন। তাঁর পরামর্শ শুধু দিকনির্দেশনা নয়, বরং ভালোবাসা, দায়িত্ববোধ ও দূরদর্শিতার প্রতিফলন। বহুবার তিনি ব্যক্তিগত ব্যস্ততা কিংবা কষ্ট সত্ত্বেও ক্লাবের প্রয়োজনে সর্বোচ্চ ত্যাগ স্বীকার করেছেন—যা নিঃস্বার্থ ভালোবাসারই প্রমাণ।

স্যার সহজেই পৌঁছানো যায় এমন একজন অভিভাবক—ধৈর্যশীল, বন্ধুবৎসল ও সব সময় পাশে থাকার মতো। হোক সেটা রাতবিরাতে কোনো জিজ্ঞাসা, কিংবা কঠিন কোনো সিদ্ধান্ত, তিনি সর্বদা সহযোগিতার হাত বাড়িয়ে দেন। তাঁর শিক্ষার্থী-বান্ধব মনোভাব আমাদের প্রতিটি সদস্যকে আশ্বস্ত করে তোলে যে, তাদের কথা শোনা হবে, বোঝা হবে, এবং যথার্থ সমাধানও দেওয়া হবে। তাঁর সহানুভূতি ও সহমর্মিতা LUDC-তে একটি নিরাপদ ও মানবিক পরিবেশ তৈরি করেছে, যেখানে সবাই নিজেকে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ও সম্মানিত অনুভব করে।

আমাদের কাছে তিনি শুধুমাত্র একজন উপদেষ্টা নন—তিনি পরিবারের একজন অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ। এই ক্লাবকে তিনি সন্তানের মতো আগলে রেখেছেন—ভালোবাসা, প্রজ্ঞা ও অটল সমর্থনে। তাঁর উপস্থিতিই আমাদের এগিয়ে চলার প্রেরণা, সাহস ও আত্মবিশ্বাস জোগায়।

আমরা সত্যিই সৌভাগ্যবান, কারণ মোহাম্মদ জামানের রহমান স্যারের মতো একজন পথপ্রদর্শক আমাদের পাশে আছেন। তাঁর নিরলস পরিশ্রম ও নিঃস্বার্থ সহানুভূতিতে LUDC শুধু একটি ক্লাব নয়, বরং একটি পরিবার—একটি নিরাপদ আশ্রয়, যেখানে প্রতিটি সদস্য বিকশিত হওয়ার সুযোগ পায়। তাঁর অঙ্গীকার আমাদের মনে করিয়ে দেয়—আন্তরিকতা, ধৈর্য ও একতায় ভর করে আমরা যেকোনো বাধা পেরিয়ে উজ্জ্বল ভবিষ্যতের পথ গড়ে তুলতে পারি।

From joining the club through the Freshers’ Debate League to steadily advancing himself, this person has earned the trust of everyone through his remarkable organizational skills.

I am talking about a devoted member of the Leading University Debating Club family—Tanvir Azad Ibon.

His consistent presence at the club booth, often multiple times a day, has inspired both new and senior members alike.

Starting as a general member, he successfully served as the Publicity Secretary in the previous committee. From formal events to casual moments, he skillfully captured and presented the club’s activities through the lens of the camera, ensuring every event was beautifully portrayed.

But his contributions weren’t limited to organizational duties—he actively participated in the Freshers’ Debate League and two Divisional Debate Tournaments as a debater. He was awarded the title of Debater of the Tournament in the Freshers’ Debate League 3.0.

Moreover, he played a key role in the Second Divisional Debate Competition and the club’s first-ever National Debate Tournament—both organized by the Leading University Debating Club. His dedication in these events has been a source of motivation for others.

In the Freshers’ Debate League 4.0, Tanvir Azad Ibon served with excellence as a judge, host, and organizer.

ফ্রেশার্স ডিবেট লীগের মাধ্যমে ক্লাবে জয়েন। তারপর ধীরে ধীরে নিজেকে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়া। সাংগঠনিক বিভিন্ন কাজে অসামান্য দক্ষতার মাধ্যমে আস্থা অর্জন করেছেন তিনি।

বলছিলাম, লিডিং ইউনিভার্সিটি ডিবেটিং ক্লাব পরিবারের একজন নিবেদিতপ্রাণ সদস্য তানভীর আজাদ ইবন এর কথা।

প্রতিদিন নিয়ম করে একাধিকবার ক্লাবের বুথে যার উপস্থিতি অনুপ্রাণিত করেছে, এবং করে যাচ্ছে নতুন, কিংবা পুরাতন সদস্যদের।

একজন সাধারণ সদস্য হিসেবে অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে যিনি গত কমিটিতে সফল পাবলিসিটি সেক্রেটারি হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন। আমাদের ক্লাবের ইভেন্টগুলোকে, হোক তা ফরমাল কিংবা ক্যাজুয়াল, ক্যামেরার লেন্সে বন্দি করে সকলের সামনে সুন্দরভাবে উপস্থাপন করে গিয়েছেন সফলভাবে।

A debating club doesn’t run on debaters alone. It requires a few more skilled individuals—those whose dedication and efficiency play a vital role in the club’s success.

One such individual is Pushpita Dhar. Initially joining as a general member, she successfully served as a co-organizer in the previous committee.

She is unmatched when it comes to managing the club’s booth. Her ability to bring new students into the world of debating has been truly commendable.

Moreover, her enthusiasm during the Second Divisional Debate Competition organized by Leading University Debating Club, as well as the club’s first-ever National Debate Championship, inspired everyone around her.

Not only that—besides participating as a debater in the divisional competition, she also served as a skilled adjudicator in the Freshers’ Debate League 4.0.

Congratulations to Pushpita Dhar on being appointed the General Secretary of the Leading University Debating Club for the newly formed 2025–2026 session! We believe her capable leadership will take the club several steps forward.

একটি ডিবেটিং ক্লাব শুধু বিতার্কিক দিয়ে চলে না। প্রয়োজন হয় আরোও কিছু দক্ষ ব্যক্তির। যাদের কর্মদক্ষতা এবং আন্তরিকতা ক্লাবকে সফল করতে সহযোগিতা করে।

তেমনই একজন ব্যক্তি হলেন পুষ্পিতা ধর। একজন সাধারণ সদস্য হিসেবে অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে যিনি গত কমিটিতে সফল কো-অর্গানাইজার হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন।

ক্লাবের বুথ সামাল দিতে তার জুড়ি মেলা ভার। নবীন শিক্ষার্থীদের বিতর্কের মঞ্চে নিয়ে আসার ক্ষেত্রে তিনি তার দায়িত্ব পালন করে গিয়েছেন অত্যন্ত দক্ষতার সাথে।

Despite the limited opportunities available in rural and semi-urban schools and colleges, he embraced debate as his own. His journey in debating began during school life, and with each participation at the upazila and district levels, his confidence steadily grew.

Upon entering university, he joined the debating club — marking the beginning of a new chapter. From then on, opening the booth and handling recruitment became more than just responsibilities; they turned into a passionate routine.

His connection with debate began back in school, but it became truly solidified after joining the Leading University Debating Club. Surrounded by some of the most brilliant debaters, he continued to sharpen his reasoning and learn new techniques every day.

In the previous committee, he served as the Debate Wing Coordinator, successfully managing practice debates single-handedly. Since joining the club, he has participated in three divisional debate tournaments, with one of his teams reaching the quarter-finals — a significant achievement.

He also served as both an organizer and judge in Freshers’ Debate League 4.0, and took on vital responsibilities during the Second Divisional Debate Championship and the club’s first-ever National Debate Competition, inspiring fellow members through his dedication and leadership.

The person we’ve been talking about is none other than Asfarur Rahman Chowdhury, the newly appointed Vice President of the Leading University Debating Club for the 2025–2026 session.

Just as in the past, the LU Debate Club family is confident that he will continue to play an impactful role in shaping the club’s future.

গ্রাম আর মফস্বলের স্কুল কলেজে তেমন বেশি সুযোগ না থাকা সত্ত্বেও বিতর্ককে করে নিয়েছিলেন আপন। বিতর্কে প্রথম অভিষেক স্কুল লাইফে। এরপর উপজেলা, জেলা পর্যায়ে বেশকিছু বিতর্ক প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশগ্রহণ করার মাধ্যমে আত্মবিশ্বাস বৃদ্ধি!

অতঃপর ভার্সিটিতে ভর্তি হওয়ার পর ক্লাব অভিষেক ঘটে ডিবেটিং ক্লাবে জয়েন করার মাধ্যমে। এরপর প্রতিদিন নিয়ম করে বুথ ওপেন করা, এবং রিক্রুটের কাজ করা যেন একপ্রকার নেশায় পরিণত হয়।

স্কুলজীবন থেকেই বিতর্কের সাথে সম্পর্ক। কিন্তু, সেটা আরোও পাকাপোক্ত হয় লিডিং ইউনিভার্সিটি ডিবেটিং ক্লাবে যোগ দেয়ার পর। বিভিন্ন তুখোড় বিতার্কিকদের সান্নিধ্যে থেকে নিত্যনতুন আহরণ করে চলেছেন যুক্তির ক্ষুরধার বিভিন্ন প্রয়োগ।

গত কমিটিতে ডিবেট উইং কো-অর্ডিনেটর হিসেবে একা হাতেই সামলেছেন বিভিন্ন প্র‍্যাকটিস ডিবেট। ক্লাবে যুক্ত হওয়ার পর অংশ নিয়েছেন তিনটি ডিভিশনাল ডিবেটে। যার একটিতে তার দল কোয়ার্টার ফাইনাল ব্রেক করে।

এছাড়াও ফ্রেশার্স ডিবেট লীগ ৪.০ তে দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন একজন সংগঠক, এবং বিচারক হিসেবে। লিডিং ইউনিভার্সিটি ডিবেটিং ক্লাব কর্তৃক আয়োজিত দ্বিতীয় বিভাগীয় বিতর্ক প্রতিযোগিতা, এবং প্রথমবারের মতো আয়োজিত ন্যাশনাল ডিবেট প্রতিযোগিতায় পালন করেছেন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দায়িত্ব। যা অনুপ্রেরণা যুগিয়েছে ক্লাবের সদস্যদের।

এতক্ষণ যার কথা বলছিলাম, তিনি লিডিং ইউনিভার্সিটি ডিবেটিং ক্লাবের ২০২৫-২০২৬ সেশনের নবনিযুক্ত ভাইস-প্রেসিডেন্ট আছফারুর রহমান চৌধুরী। অভিনন্দন, আছফারুর রহমান চৌধুরীকে!

অতীতের মতো ভবিষ্যতেও তিনি ক্লাবে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখবেন বলে লিডিং ইউনিভার্সিটি ডিবেটিং ক্লাব পরিবার আশাবাদী।

In every club, there are always a few trusted individuals you can rely on without hesitation—no matter the task. Even when an event seems to be falling apart, this person shows up right before it begins, with solutions to every problem.

That person is none other than Haris Rahman Antor, a dedicated member of the Leading University Debating Club.

Starting his journey as a general member, he served as a successful Co-Organizer in the previous committee. But his contributions weren’t limited to organizational duties—he actively participated in the Freshers’ Debate League and two Divisional Debate Tournaments as a debater.

Furthermore, his timely and impactful involvement in the club's Second Divisional Debate Competition and the club’s first-ever National Debate Championship, both organized by the Leading University Debating Club, has inspired many.

আমরা প্রতিটি ক্লাবে এমন কিছু বিশ্বস্ত মানুষকে পেয়ে থাকি, যাদের উপর যেকোনো কাজ দিয়ে নির্দ্বিধায় থাকা যায়। হয়তো কোনোকিছুই ঠিক নেই একটা ইভেন্ট এর। কিন্তু এই মানুষটা ইভেন্টের ঠিক আগে সব সমস্যার সমাধান নিয়ে হাজির!

Such a dependable and sincere figure in the Leading University Debating Club is Anup Kumar Shill.

He began his journey as a general member and quickly proved his value through his dedication and tireless support. In the previous term, he served successfully as an Executive Member.

Anup hasn’t confined himself to behind-the-scenes tasks alone. He actively participated in the Freshers’ Debate League.

His meaningful and timely contributions during the Second Divisional Debate Competition and the club’s first-ever National Debate Championship earned admiration from peers and inspired many others.

In Freshers’ Debate League 4.0, he played an effective and organized role as one of the key coordinators, proving once again that reliability is his strongest suit.

লিডিং ইউনিভার্সিটি ডিবেটিং ক্লাবের তেমনি এক নির্ভরযোগ্য ও নিষ্ঠাবান সদস্য হলেন অনুপ কুমার শীল।

একজন সাধারণ সদস্য হিসেবে যাত্রা শুরু করে, খুব অল্প সময়েই তিনি তাঁর নিষ্ঠা ও নিরলস শ্রমের মাধ্যমে নিজের গুরুত্ব প্রমাণ করে দেন। গত কমিটিতে তিনি সফলভাবে কো-অর্গানাইজার হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন এবং প্রত্যাশার চেয়েও অনেক বেশি অবদান রেখেছেন।

One such exceptional individual is Nowshin Tasnuva Aurpa. Starting her journey as a general member, she steadily made her mark through consistent dedication, quiet determination, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Aurpa played a significant role in major club events such as the Second Divisional Debate Championship and the inaugural National Debate Competition, both hosted by the Leading University Debating Club. Her dependable presence and tireless efforts helped ensure these events ran seamlessly.

From assisting in member recruitment to handling logistics during key programs, she has always brought thoughtfulness and precision to her work. Her calm demeanor, coupled with a deep commitment to the club’s values, makes her someone others can truly count on.

In Freshers’ Debate League 4.0, he played an effective and organized role as one of the key coordinators, and adjudicators.

These are the individuals we identify as the Mid-Level Members, and their deep sense of responsibility and unwavering commitment to the club bring about extraordinary results.

One of their core responsibilities is to maintain the chain of command between the General and Executive Members in accordance with the guidance of the Steering Committee — a task of great importance in ensuring the smooth functioning of the club.

The Mid-Level structure of the Leading University Debating Club is divided into several crucial roles: Treasurer, Co-Treasurer, Debate Wing Coordinator, Co-Debate Wing Coordinator, Organizer, Co-Organizer, Publicity Secretary, Co-Publicity Secretary, and Official Photographer.

Each of these positions plays an invaluable role in maintaining the club’s order and direction. From managing club members and sharing ideas for event planning with the Steering Committee, to maintaining the treasury, organizing new recruits, promoting club updates on social media, and arranging regular practice debates — the contribution of the Mid-Level Members is irreplaceable in keeping the club’s rhythm on track.

Their tireless dedication — both physically and mentally — makes them an inseparable part of the club’s success. They also remain committed to upholding the club’s reputation by regularly participating in debate competitions. It is because of their capability and diligence that members of the Steering Committee can perform their duties with confidence and peace of mind.

তাদের প্রত্যেকটি পজিশন একটি ক্লাবকে সুশৃঙ্খলভাবে পরিচালিত হতে যে সাহায্য করে থাকে, তার কোনো মূল্য নির্ধারণ করা সম্ভব নয়। মূলত, একটি ক্লাবের সকল সদস্যকে পরিচালিত করা, ক্লাবের আপডেট সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায় প্রচার করা, নিয়মিত অনুশীলন বিতর্কের আয়োজন, ক্লাবের কোষাগারের রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ, নতুন সদস্যদের সংগঠিত করা, একটি প্রোগ্রাম আয়োজনে বিভিন্নপ্রকার আইডিয়া স্টিয়ারিং কমিটির সাথে শেয়ার করার মাধ্যমে ক্লাবের গতিময় ছন্দকে সঠিক ট্র‍্যাকে রাখতে মিড লেভেল সদস্যদের প্রয়োজন অতুলনীয়।

শারীরিক, মানসিক, উভয় দিক দিয়ে পরিশ্রমের মাধ্যমে ক্লাবকে সফল হতে চেষ্টা করা এই মিড লেভেলের এক অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ। নিয়মিত বিতর্ক প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশগ্রহণের মাধ্যমে ক্লাবের সুনাম অক্ষুণ্ণ রাখতেও মিড লেভেল সর্বদা বদ্ধপরিকর। মিড লেভেলের দক্ষতার কারণেই স্টিয়ারিং কমিটির সদস্যরা নির্ভার থাকতে পারেন।

লিডিং ইউনিভার্সিটি ডিবেটিং ক্লাবের ২০২৫-২০২৬। সেশনের এই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সদস্যদের তালিকা প্রকাশ করতে পেরে আমরা অত্যন্ত উচ্ছ্বসিত। বরাবরের মতোই মিড লেভেলের প্রতিটি সদস্য "কথায় নয় কাজে বিশ্বাসী", এই সারকথাকে অক্ষুণ্ণ রাখবে বলে আমরা আশাবাদী।
