Congratulations 🎉 to our Access students on their graduation 🎓 and warm wishes on their well-deserved success. 👏
It has been a great honor for the students and the teachers of Access, EHDS, Sylhet as the Honorable U.S. Ambassador to Bangladesh H.E. Earl Miller graced the graduation ceremony along with Mr. Curtis Chan, Regional English Language Officer, Mr. Josh Kamp, Cultural Affairs Officer of The American Center, Dhaka, Ms. Raihana Sultana, Cultural Affairs Specialist, and Mr. Shaon Karmakar, English Language Program Coordinator, Public Affairs Section U.S. Embassy Dhaka.
The program started with the opening remarks of His Excellency Mr. Earl Miller. On behalf of the students, MD. Faruq Ahmed and Nusrat Jahan Nilima shared their Access journey.
Ms. Nowrin Akther Koly, Access teacher and State Alumna delivered her speech on behalf of the Access team, Sylhet. The program was hosted by Mr. Josh Kamp and Mr. Pranab Kanti Deb, Coordinator, English Access Microscholarship Program, EHDS, Sylhet.
Renowned journalists, guardians, Access Coordinators of GEIST and LPC also were present in the program.Thanks to the U.S. Embassy, Dhaka for all your support and encouragement today and always. Thanks to all our respected guests for making the graduation program a special and memorable one. Best wishes for our Access students for their next adventure!

Access Virtual Intensive Camp 2 💕
According to WHO " Adolescence is a crucial period for developing and maintaining social and emotional habits important for mental well being."
EHDS invited Prof. Zaheda Sharmin, Department of Political Studies, SUST, ICCR scholar and the US State alumna to speak about emotional and mental changes in adolescence. She counselled them for effective maintenance of the spirit and power of this important stage of life. She stressed the need of physical exercise, sports, problem solving skills, managing emotions, participating in cultural events, joining youth organizations related to their hobbies and interests. She advised the students to reach out to parents, teachers and friends including her for any challenges they find difficult to handle.
Thanks to Prof. Zaheda Sharmin for her valuable time spending with the students and teachers of Access.
