Begin with one Juz. Dream of thirty.🤍

We often think of Hifz as one destination:
30 Juz.
And yes, completing all 30 Juz is a beautiful and remarkable achievement.
But what about the journey before that?

What if a child memorises 5 Juz?
What if he reaches 10 Juz?
What if he reaches 15 Juz?
Should we think his achievement only matters when he reaches all 30?
We don't think so.

At Odyssey Academy, we believe every Juz memorised is an achievement worth nurturing.

Our goal is not simply to ask:
“Has he become a Hafiz yet?”
Instead, we want to ask:
“How much of the Qur’an has he carried in his heart—and how can we help him carry more?”

A child may begin with 1 Juz.
Then 5.
Then 10.
Then 15.
And perhaps, one day, InshaAllah, he completes all 30 Juz.

The destination is beautiful.
But the journey matters too.

5 Juz matters.
10 Juz matters.
15 Juz matters.
Every Ayah matters.

That is why we are introducing the PART-TIME HIFZ PROGRAMME at Odyssey Academy for students who are currently studying in other schools.

They don't have to leave their current school.
They don't have to give up their academic education.
They simply need to make time for the Qur’an.

Some Dreams Shouldn’t Have to Wait. 🤍

We have met many parents who deeply want their sons to memorise the Qur’an.

But there is one common challenge:

“My son already studies in another school. We cannot move him to Odyssey Academy because of his age.”

Some children are already settled in their current school.
Some are already in a higher class.
Some may not be able to transfer because of their age or academic situation.

Yet the dream remains:

“I want my son to become a Hafiz.”

At Odyssey Academy, we believe that a child should not have to choose between his academic education and his Qur’anic journey.

That is why we are opening our doors beyond our regular school programme.

Odyssey Academy is looking for dedicated, passionate, and practicing Muslimah teachers who are committed to nurturing the next generation of the Ummah—spiritually, morally, academically, and intellectually.

✦ WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Faith & Character:
• A practicing Muslimah committed to living and working in accordance with Islamic values.
• Possesses excellent Akhlaq, sincerity, responsibility, and professionalism.
• Demonstrates a positive and exemplary character both inside and outside the classroom.

Islamic Commitment:
• Observes proper Hijab and Niqab in accordance with Islamic guidelines.
• Understands and maintains appropriate Mahram and Non-Mahram boundaries.

Academic & Professional Qualifications:
• 3–10 years of teaching experience in English Medium schools.
• British or Cambridge curriculum experience preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognized university.
• Preference will be given to candidates from English Medium / O Level / A Level backgrounds.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Ability to integrate Islamic values into everyday teaching.
• Passionate about child-centered learning and nurturing students spiritually, morally, and academically.
