Mini Symposium: From Research to Startup – Creating an Innovation Ecosystem in the University

The event began with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an.
Prof.Dr. A. M. Sarwaruddin Chowdhury, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, SUST, inaugurated the program via Zoom.
Special Guests Prof. Dr. Md. Shajedul Karim (Pro-Vice Chancellor) and Prof. Dr. Md. Ismail Hossain (Treasurer) graced the occasion.

Speakers shared valuable insights, including
Prof. Dr. Mohammad Abdur Rahman Head, Department of Cyber Security and Forensic Computing, University of Prince Mugrin, KSA, who emphasized securing research funds by addressing societal needs and solving industrial challenges instead of relying solely on government support.
Prof. Dr. Mustafizur Rahman discussed his focus on nanomaterials and technology, inspired by the idea of creating handy tools and equipment with comprehensive features, and shared his innovative work in the field. Prof. Dr. Pabel Shahrear (SUST) also delivered an engaging talk.

Chaired by Prof. Dr. Md. Abul Kalam Azad, the program fostered knowledge sharing, collaboration, and a vision for impactful research and innovation.
