Today JCESC celebrated the the result of SSC with great joy and pride! Our respected Principal chaired the event as the Chief Guest and cut the cake with all the students, marking a moment of achievement and unity. In his inspiring speech, he motivated students to dream bigger and work harder for the upcoming HSC exam, emphasizing dedication, discipline, and focus. His words truly lit a spark in everyone’s hearts. A heartfelt thanks to both the class teachers for organizing such a memorable celebration.

Today, we bid a heartfelt farewell to our beloved students of HSC Batch 2025 through a warm and emotional Farewell Program and Dua Mahfil.
The program began with a soulful recitation from the Holy Quran by Mahi Afsar Nafis. The stage then welcomed heartfelt expressions and reflections from Suraiya Islam Sweety and Mirza Tawsif Beg, capturing memories, gratitude, and dreams. Respected Principal shared valuable guidelines regarding exam rules and regulations to prepare the students for the days ahead. Then, Assistant Teacher Mr. Khorshed Alam led a meaningful Dua Session, praying for the students' success and well-being.
Finally, class teachers distributed Admit Cards with love and best wishes. The class teachers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Principal and Vice Principal for their graceful presence, which added warmth, inspiration, and dignity to the occasion.

May the Almighty bless our students with success in every step of life.

In the prestigious conference of 12th Dhaka University National Model United Nations (DUNMUN) – 2025, which was held at the University of Dhaka from May 29 to June 1, our pride Lamia Anjum Tasheen achieved the Special Mention-1 award representing FATF (Financial Action Task Force), and Mahdin Ahmed Tehamee achieved the Special Mention-2 award representing INTERPOL (International Criminal Police Organization).

On May 31, 2025, Jalalabad Cantonment English School and College (JCESC) hosted a Teachers' Enrichment Program aimed at enhancing educators' understanding of student psychology. The participants from Jalalabad Cantonment Public School and College (JCPSC), Sylhet Cantonment Public School and College(SCPSC), Jalalabad Cantonment English School and College (JCESC), and Jalalabad Cantonment Board High School (JCBHS) have attended that program. At the very outset, Assitant teacher Md Khorshed Alam recited some holy verses from holy Quran.
The program commenced with an opening address by Lieutenant Colonel Md Arifur Rahman, psc, PhD, AEC, Principal of JCESC, who extended a warm welcome to all attendees. Distinguished sessions were conducted by Md. Labon Sarkar, Senior Teacher at Adamjee Cantonment Public School and Mr. Khalil Ahmed Mamun, a psychologist from MC College, focusing on various aspects of student.

A highlight of the program was the session on "Motivation and Leadership Qualities" delivered by Brigadier General Md Kamrul Hassan, SGP, SPP, afwc, psc Chairman of JCESC. His insights provided valuable perspectives on fostering leadership and motivation among students and teachers.

The event was further graced by the presence of principals from JCPSC, SCPSC, and JCBHS, reflecting a collective commitment to educational excellence and professional development.
The program was hosted by Assistant Teacher Mohammad Sayedul Islam.
The Convener of the program was Md Abul Hasnat.

Our respected Principal Lieutenant Colonel Md Arifur Rahman psc, phD and AEC graced the event as the chief guest, delivering an inspiring speech that encouraged all students to strive for excellence.

জেসিএসসি পরিবারে উৎসবের আনন্দে মুখর ছিল পহেলা বৈশাখ ১৪৩২ উদযাপন।

এ বর্ণিল আয়োজনে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন জেসিএসসি’র পরিচালনা পর্ষদের সম্মানিত সভাপতি ব্রিগেডিয়ার জেনারেল মো. কামরুল হাসান, এসজিপি, এসপিপি, এএফডব্লিউসি, পিএসসি এবং বিশেষ অতিথি ও প্রতিষ্ঠান প্রধান লে. কর্নেল আরিফুর রহমান, পিএসসি, পিএইচডি, এইসি।

অনুষ্ঠানের শুরুতে প্রধান অতিথিকে ফুল ও উত্তরীয় প্রদান করে বরণ করে নেওয়া হয়। পরে তিনি ফিতা কেটে মেলার আনুষ্ঠানিক উদ্বোধন করেন। এরপর তিনি মেলা পরিদর্শন করেন এবং মনোজ্ঞ সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান উপভোগ করেন।

মেলায় ছিল পান্তা-ইলিশের বিশেষ আয়োজন, যা সকলের আকর্ষণের কেন্দ্রবিন্দু ছিল। শিক্ষক, অভিভাবক ও শিক্ষার্থীদের সক্রিয় অংশগ্রহণে পুরো আয়োজন হয়ে উঠে প্রাণবন্ত ও সার্থক।

নববর্ষের এই দিনটি হয়ে থাকুক সকলের জন্য আনন্দ ও শান্তির বার্তা।

On 25th February 2025, our college students embarked on an exciting study tour to a pineapple garden, where they explored the process of pineapple cultivation and gained hands-on learning experience. Alongside the educational aspect, the day was filled with entertainment and excitement, featuring a lively cultural program with singing and dancing, a competitive quiz competition, and a thrilling raffle draw. The highlight of the event was the prize-giving segment, where winners were recognized and rewarded for their achievements. Prizes were distributed by Principal Lt Col Md Arifur Rahman psc, PhD, AEC and Mrs. Principal among winners. A delicious lunch cooked with students' participation, made it a truly memorable and enriching experience for all. Finally, sir delivered an inspiring and motivational speech that encouraged students to obtain excellent results in public examinations, embrace experiential learning and emphasized on agriculture.

Safiah(STD-XI) and Anis(STD-XI) hosted cultural program along with raffle draw and lecturer Atia Amatun Nur conducted the quiz competition.

মহান শহিদ দিবস ও আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস উদযাপন-২০২৫

জালালাবাদ ক্যান্টনমেন্ট ইংলিশ স্কুল এন্ড কলেজে বরাবরের মতো এবারও যথাযথ ভাবগাম্ভীর্যের সাথে পালন করা হলো মহান শহিদ দিবস ও আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস-২০২৫। সকাল ৮:৩০ ঘটিকায় প্রভাতফেরির মধ্যদিয়ে দিবসের কার্যক্রমের সূচনা হয়।

প্রতিষ্ঠানের সকল ছাত্রছাত্রীর অংশগ্রহণে প্রভাতফেরিটি নতুনমাঠ থেকে শুরু হয়ে শহিদ মিনারে গিয়ে পৌঁছায়। বিএনসিসি,স্কাউটদল ও তিন হাউসের আহবায়কগণ, শিক্ষক ও শিক্ষার্থীবৃন্দ শহিদদের উদ্দেশ্যে পুষ্পস্তবক অর্পণ করেন। এই দিবসকে কেন্দ্র করে শিক্ষার্থীদের স্বত:স্ফূর্ত অংশগ্রহণে সকাল ৯:৩০-১০:৩০ পর্যন্ত আয়োজন করা হয় চিত্রাঙ্কন প্রতিযোগিতা, ছড়াপাঠ ও কবিতা আবৃত্তি। অধ্যক্ষ মহোদয় চিত্রাঙ্কন প্রতিযোগিতার বিভিন্ন গ্রুপ পরিদর্শণ করেন এবং শিক্ষার্থীদের নিকট এই দিনটির গুরুত্ব ও তাৎপর্য তুলে ধরেন। পরে বেলা ১১:০০ ঘটিকায় মুক্তমঞ্চে অনুষ্ঠিত হয় এক মনোজ্ঞ সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান।

অনুষ্ঠানে ২১শের চেতনা ভিত্তিক ও জগরণমূলক গান,নাচ, ছড়া, কবিতা, নাটক ইত্যাদি পরিবেশনের মাধ্যমে শহিদদের শ্রদ্ধাভরে স্মরণ করা হয়। অবশেষে প্রতিযোগিতায় বিজয়ীদের হাতে পুরস্কার তুলে দেন প্রতিষ্ঠানের অধ্যক্ষ, উপাধ্যক্ষ ও আহবায়ক। শহিদ দিবস ও আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস উদযাপন -২০২৫ অনুষ্ঠানের আহবায়ক ছিলেন অত্র প্রতিষ্ঠানের বাংলা বিষয়ের প্রভাষক মারিয়াম বেগম।

A Day of Fun, Culture, and Learning at ATI!

Our high school students had an unforgettable study tour at the Agriculture Training Institute (ATI), Sylhet, on February 20, 2025, filled with joy, learning, and celebration through dance, music, and performances. Adding to the excitement, a raffle draw brought smiles and surprises, making the event even more special!
This tour was not just an educational excursion but a transformative experience. Our esteemed principal, Lt Col Md Arifur Rahman, psc, PhD, AEC, delivered an enlightening speech, emphasizing the importance of experiential learning, critical thinking, and real-world exposure.

Adyan Abdullah (STD-X) and Zara Anjum Nabila (STD-X) was the host of the mesmerizing cultural program. And the exciting raffle draw was conducted by Assistant Teacher Mahbuba Begum Mukta.

A Day of Fun, Culture & Surprises in Annual Picnic-2025 (Nursery to STD-V)!

What an unforgettable picnic today at Adventure World Park, Sylhet with our little stars from Nursery to Class V organised by Jalalabad Cantonment English School & College! The joy and excitement were endless as our students enjoyed thrilling rides, delicious treats, and a day full of laughter.

The highlight of the day was the cultural program, where our talented students mesmerized everyone with their beautiful performances! Their energy and enthusiasm made the event truly special.

Adding to the fun, we also held an exciting raffle draw for both students and guardians! The lucky winners walked away with amazing prizes, making the day even more thrilling.

Our esteemed principal Lt Col Md Arifur Rahman, psc, PhD, AEC delivered a short speech and thanked all for participating in the picnic. Finally, prizes of the raffle draw were handed over by the principal amongst the lucky students and guardians.

A huge thank you to our teachers, staff, and parents for making this event a grand success. Miss Mukta and Mr Imteaz conducted the cultural program and raffle draw. Mr Dipangkar was the convener of the Annual Picnic-2025.
