We are delighted to share that two brilliant graduates of the Department of Chemistry, SUST, have recently joined as faculty members at renowned institutions!

📌Munira Siddika from 26th batch has been appointed as a Lecturer at the Department of Chemistry, BUET.

📌 Mohammad Imran Hossain from 28th batch has joined as a Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, SUST, returning to contribute to the institution that shaped him.

They both completed their BSc and MSc from our department. Both have been active and dedicated members of the Electrochemistry and Catalysis Research Laboratory (ECRL) during their academic journey.
Wishing them both a bright and impactful academic career ahead. Your achievements continue to inspire the entire SUST Chemistry family! 🌟

The ESIA committee is very delighted to announce the extension of the application deadline for the fellowship program. The new deadline is June 30, 2025. Feel free to share this exciting update with the interested people.

We're proudly congratulating Liton Biswas, a fourth-year undergraduate chemistry student at SUST, who has achieved first place with his team at the UPG Fellowship on Leadership Program.
Among the 13,000+ applicants, Liton Biswas and his team have taken their position to the top. He and his team will be flying to the USA for a 15-day tour in a couple of months, which will be fully funded!
We wish him good luck, and may his future be filled with success and wonderful achievements.

We are thrilled to announce that several talented graduates of 2017-18 session from the 28th batch of the Department of Chemistry at SUST have received fully funded PhD offers for Fall '24 from prestigious universities across the USA!
So far, 9 students from this batch have gotten fully funded PhD offers & 7 of them are joining this Fall!

It is our immense pleasure to share that Anggon Barua from the 28th (Nickel) batch of the 2017-2018 session has been admitted to Iowa State University, USA. He has been awarded a fully funded graduate assistantship for a PhD in chemistry for the fall 2024 session.
We congratulate him for this remarkable achievement and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

We're delighted to share that Md Nurnobi Islam from 27th (Cobalt) batch 2016-2017 session has been admitted to the graduate PhD program of University of Cincinnati, Ohio state, USA for the fall'24 semester with a full funded scholarship in Chemistry. A huge congratulations to him. May his journey ahead be brightened with success and blessings.
