It is inevitable for law students to know the classification of legal research methods, which can help students prepare with relevant matters to write the final research work, whatever the nature of such work such as a research paper for the conference, journal article, term paper, research monograph, theses or dissertation in law schools etc. Identifying the research topic and narrowing it down, studying necessary literature, and collecting data for research work, tools, and techniques for analysing the data mainly depend on the method a law student chooses to step ahead to complete the research work. For several reasons, a law student faces obstacles to starting legal or relevant research when identifying the appropriate methods, subsequent methodologies and approaches. Due to the unique characteristics of study materials of the law discipline, separate methods have been developed to carry out research activities within or beyond the discipline. (To be continued)
