Purpose of travel not considered as an emergency:
Following travel purposes do not qualify for an expedited appointment. For such travel, applicant must please schedule a regular visa appointment well in advance.

• Any planned trip relevant to personal business or tourism
Purpose of travel considered as an emergency:
In accordance with the U.S. State Department regulations, expedite requests must be reserved for cases with urgent humanitarian need for travel, such as medical treatment or a death in the applicant's family and cases where there is clear and significant U.S. government interest. If any of the following criteria matches the travel plan, applicants may submit a request for an expedited appointment through our online form.
• To receive or continue receiving medical treatment in the US;
• Attending a family funeral;
• Visiting family member who is seriously ill;
• Unexpected, time sensitive business travel significant to U.S. Government interest
