আল্লাহ তায়ালা যেন তার রূহের মাগফিরাত করেন এবং তাকে জান্নাতুল ফেরদৌস দান করেন এবং তার শোকাহত পরিবারকে এই গভীর শোক সহ্য করার শক্তি ও ধৈর্য্য দান করেন।
তার এই অকাল মৃত্যুতে আমরা গণিত পরিবারের প্রতিটি সদস্য গভীরভাবে শোকাহত।

We are pleased to announce that Md. Jobayer Hossain, a 2nd-year student (Session: 2023–24) of the Department of Mathematics, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, secured 7th position in the Final Round of the 16th National Undergraduate Mathematics Olympiad 2025.

The Department of Mathematics warmly congratulates him on this remarkable achievement and wishes him continued success in the future.

Yesterday, a selection test was held at the Department of Mathematics, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, to choose participants for the 16th National Undergraduate Mathematics Olympiad (Regional Round).
The selected students will compete in the regional round next Friday, where the top ten performers will qualify for the national level competition.

"Team Arunav" meets The Honourable Chief Advisor! Building on their incredible success, "Team Arunav" has taken another big step!

After their win as the Champions of the National Policy Competition 2025, the team had the great honour of attending a 'Get Together' with The Honourable Chief Advisor yesterday.

Representing Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), the team joined other champions to talk about the future of their policy ideas.

We are very proud to announce the most important result of this meeting:
The policy papers from the champion teams will be reviewed by the related ministry to help make and change policies. Even better, the teams, including our own "Team Arunav", have been encouraged to contribute to this important process! This is a wonderful move from a student competition to making a real, national-level change.
