We are highly delighted to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Arad Khan and Nishat Tarannum Mim Khan on their selection as recipients of the SUST–STEM Professional Meraj Uddin Mendal Memorial Scholarship 2026.

Arad Khan and Nishat Tarannum Mim are both very meritorious and passionate students of the Department of Mathematics at Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST), and they have consistently demonstrated exceptional academic performance. This scholarship is awarded to a select group of students who exhibit not only academic excellence but also a strong passion for advancing STEM fields.

পবিত্র মাহে রমজান আত্মশুদ্ধি, সংযম, ধৈর্য ও মানবিক মূল্যবোধ চর্চার এক মহিমান্বিত সময়। রহমত, মাগফিরাত ও নাজাতের এ মাস আমাদের অন্তরকে পরিশুদ্ধ করে, নৈতিক দৃঢ়তা জাগ্রত করে এবং আত্মনিয়ন্ত্রণ ও আত্মবিশ্বাসে করে সমুন্নত।

Yesterday, a selection test was held at the Department of Mathematics, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, to choose participants for the 16th National Undergraduate Mathematics Olympiad (Regional Round).
The selected students will compete in the regional round next Friday, where the top ten performers will qualify for the national level competition.

"Team Arunav" meets The Honourable Chief Advisor! Building on their incredible success, "Team Arunav" has taken another big step!

After their win as the Champions of the National Policy Competition 2025, the team had the great honour of attending a 'Get Together' with The Honourable Chief Advisor yesterday.

Representing Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), the team joined other champions to talk about the future of their policy ideas.

We are very proud to announce the most important result of this meeting:
The policy papers from the champion teams will be reviewed by the related ministry to help make and change policies. Even better, the teams, including our own "Team Arunav", have been encouraged to contribute to this important process! This is a wonderful move from a student competition to making a real, national-level change.
