অমি মন থেকে আওয়ামীলীগ ধারণ করি বা করতাম। কারণ মুক্তিযুদ্ধের স্বপক্ষের সংগঠনের অন্যতম একটি দল। কিন্ত বর্তমান সরকারের (প্রশ্নবিদ্ধ) কার্যকলাপ, দেশ পরিচালনা ও দুর্নীতি কোন ব্যক্তিত্ববান বা বিবেকবান লোক বা লোক সম্প্রদায়ের সমর্থন সে বা তার জন্মপরিচয়ের সথ্যতানিয়ে প্রশ্ন তুলে। দলের চেয়ে আমার কাছে দেশ আগে। দলতো গুটিকয়েক মানুষ নিয়ে আর দেশ কী বলার প্রয়োজন নেই। একজন সরকার প্রধান হয়ে কীভাবে মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী সাধারণ ছাত্রছাত্রীদের রাজাকারদের সাথে তুলনা করলেন, সাধারণ ছাত্রছাত্রীদের আন্দোলনকে প্রশ্নবিদ্ধ করলেন। প্রশাসন কার বা কাদের ইন্ধনে সাধারণ ছাত্রছাত্রীদের উপর গোলাবর্ষণ করে হত্যার মতো ঘটনা ঘটায়। ছাত্রলীগ শিক্ষা, শান্তি ও প্রগতি নিয়ে কাজ করে আতীতে ছাত্রলীগের মটিভ ছিলো এইসব। বর্তমানে এরা আস্ত্র কোথায় পেলো। কে বা কারা এদের হাতে অস্ত্র তুলে দিল বা মদদ দিলো। ছাত্র রাজনীতি নিষিদ্ধ হওয়া উচিত। আপনি বা আপনার বলবেন নেতৃত্ব কীভাবে গড়ে উঠবে। বাংলাদেশের মতো তৃতীয় বিশ্বের থেকে চোখ সরিয়ে উন্নত বিশ্বের বিভিন্ন দেশে চোখ বুলালেই এই প্রশ্নের উত্তর পেয়ে যাওয়ার কথা, এখানে কেউ আমরা মূর্খ নয়। আমার মনে হয় জেনারেল এরশাদ সাহেব একজন বিচক্ষণ ব্যক্তি ছিলেন তাই তিনি ছাত্র রাজনীতি বন্ধ করেছিলেন। আমার মতে প্রধানমন্ত্রী সংবাদ সম্মেলন করে ছাত্রছাত্রীদের তথা সাধারণ জনগণের কাছে ক্ষমা চাওয়া উচিত কারণ আমরা কখনো রাজাকর ছিলাম না। কোন ছাত্র-ছাত্রী বা কোন সাধারণ জনগনের কখনোই রাজাকার হতে পারে না।
কথাগুলো নিতান্তই আমার মনের কথা। কারো ভালো না লাগলে, গায়ে জ্বালা দিয়ে উঠলে এড়িয়ে যেতে পারেন। আপনার খেয়ে অন্যের মহিষ তাড়ানো হয়তো আপনার কাজ হতে পারে কিন্তু সেটা আমার কাজ নয়।

I hold the Awami League from my heart or used to. Because it is one of the groups of the organization of the liberation war. But the (questionable) activities of the present government, the governance and corruption of any individual or conscientious people or community of people question the authenticity of his or her birth identity. For me, the country comes before the party. How the Hon'ble Prime Minister, as a head of government compared common students with Rajakars, questioned the movement of common students. Incidents like shooting and killing of ordinary students are caused by the administration. Chhatra League working on education, peace and progress, these were the motives of Chhatra League in the past. Where did they get the weapons? Who gave them arms or helped them. Student politics should be banned. You say how leadership is developed. The answer to this question is supposed to be found by looking away from the third world like Bangladesh and looking at different countries of the developed world, we are not stupid here. I think General Ershad Sahib was a sensible person so he stopped student politics. In my opinion the Prime Minister should hold a press conference and apologize to the students as well as the general public because we were never Razakar. No student or general public can ever be a Razakar.
The words are purely from my heart. If you don't like, you can avoid it if it irritates you. It may be your job to chase away other people's buffaloes by eating them but that is not my job.
