আজ আমরা সমস্বরে অভিবাদন জানাতে চাই কার্যক্রমের প্রাক্তন বাংলাদেশী শিক্ষার্থী এবং সিলেটস্থ রয়াল ইন্সটিটিউট অফ স্মার্ট এডুকেশন (RISE)’র গণিত বিভাগের প্রধান নিরঞ্জন চন্দ্র পালকে।

নিরঞ্জন কেন্ট স্টেট ইউনিভার্সিটিতে তাঁর বিনিময় কার্যক্রম সম্পন্ন করেন যা তাঁকে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলোতে ব্যবহৃত শিক্ষাদানের বিভিন্ন পদ্ধতি, উপকরণ ও পাঠ পরিকল্পনা সম্পর্কে আরো জানার পাশাপাশি সামগ্রিক শিক্ষা পাঠ্যক্রম প্রণয়নের গুরুত্ব অনুধাবনে সহায়তা করেছে।

বাংলাদেশে ফেরার পর নিরঞ্জন বর্তমানে তাঁর স্কুল সংশ্লিষ্ট জনগোষ্ঠী ও জেলা পর্যায়ে শিক্ষক, মাতা-পিতা, ও অভিভাবকদের পেশাগত উন্নয়নে বিভিন্ন কর্মশালা পরিচালনায় নেতৃত্ব দিচ্ছেন।

মহামারীকালে নিরঞ্জন চা বাগান শ্রমিকদের জন্য খাদ্য সহায়তা বিতরণ কার্যক্রমে অংশগ্রহণ করেন। শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য নিরাপদ ইন্টারনেটের গুরুত্ব ভালোভাবে অনুধাবনে সহায়তার লক্ষ্যে তার স্বেচ্ছাসেবী প্রকল্প “আই কেয়ার টু ড্রিম”র অংশ হিসেবে তিনি সুনামগঞ্জ জেলার স্কুলগুলোর সাথেও কাজ করেছেন।

আগামী শনিবার আমরা কাকে নিয়ে আসছি দেখতে চোখ রাখুন।

Today, we want to give a shoutout to 🇧🇩 alumnus Niranjon Chandra Paul, Head of Mathematics at the Royal Institute of Smart Education (RISE) in Sylhet.

Niranjon completed his exchange program at Kent State University which helped him understand the importance of developing a comprehensive academic curriculum as he learned more about different teaching methods, tools, and lesson plans used in U.S. schools.

Upon returning to 🇧🇩, Niranjon is currently leading various professional development workshops for teachers, parents, and guardians in his school community and district.

During the pandemic, Niranjon helped tea garden workers by participating in food distribution drives and worked with schools in the Sunamgonj district as part of his volunteer project, “I Care to Dream’, to help students better understand the importance of internet safety.
