বাংলাদেশ কৃষি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে অনুষ্ঠিত Agricultural Olympiad Season 4 এর ফাইনাল রাউন্ডে Animal Health & Medicine ক্যাটাগরিতে প্রথম স্থান অর্জন করেছেন সিলেট কৃষি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ডিভিএম-২৯ তম ব্যাচের শিক্ষার্থী।

আজ (৩০ এপ্রিল ) সিলেট কৃষি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে উৎসবমুখর পরিবেশে বিশ্ব ভেটেরিনারি দিবস পালিত হতে যাচ্ছে। এবারের ভেটেরিনারি দিবসের প্রতিপাদ্য হলো "ভেটেরিনারিয়ান: খাদ্য ও স্বাস্থ্যের অভিভাবক"।

A group of 101 members of Sylhet Agricultural University is going to visit the College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, R. K. Nagar, Tripura, India, for the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Externship Tour 2026. Shri Rajesh Bhatia, Second Secretary (PIC & Education) from the Assistant High Commission of India, Sylhet, met with the students undertaking the tour.

সিলেট কৃষি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ১০১ জন সদস্যের একটি দল ডক্টর অফ ভেটেরিনারি মেডিসিন (ডিভিএম) এক্সটার্নশিপ ট্যুর ২০২৬-এর জন্য ভারতের ত্রিপুরার আর. কে. নগরে অবস্থিত ভেটেরিনারি সায়েন্সেস অ্যান্ড অ্যানিমেল হাজবেন্ড্রি কলেজ পরিদর্শনে যাচ্ছে। সিলেটে অবস্থিত ভারতীয় সহকারী হাইকমিশনের দ্বিতীয় সচিব (পিআইসি ও শিক্ষা) শ্রী রাজেশ ভাটিয়া এই সফরে অংশগ্রহণকারী শিক্ষার্থীদের সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করেন।

Announcement

On the occasion of World Veterinary Day 2026, FVABS, Sylhet Agricultural University organized a Project-Based Competition on “Innovative Entrepreneurial Projects for Future Veterinary Careers in Bangladesh.”

A total of 21 project ideas were submitted. After careful evaluation by the evaluation committee, the following three groups have been selected for the final presentation:

*Innovation Studio
*Vet Guard
*Smart Vet Nexus

Congratulations to the selected groups! The final presentation will be held on 30 April 2026 during the World Veterinary Day program.
