The life and career of Md. Ebadot Ali stands as a noble testament to enlightened leadership, steadfast dedication, and enduring service to the nation. His remarkable journey through public life reflects not only professional excellence, but a lifelong commitment to integrity, responsibility, and the greater good of Bangladesh.
As the founder of Sirajganj Collectorate School and College Sirajganj.
Md Ebadot Ali sowed the seeds of knowledge and opportunity, nurturing an institution that continues to illuminate the lives of generations. His vision for education remains one of his most profound and lasting contributions, shaping minds and strengthening society.
Throughout his distinguished service, he displayed rare versatility and wisdom. In his roles as Joint Secretary in the Defence and Home Ministries, he played a vital role in safeguarding national security and ensuring internal stability. Later, as Secretary of the Railway Division under the Ministry of Communications, his leadership helped modernize the nation’s transportation system, strengthening connectivity and supporting sustainable economic progress.
His journey was marked not only by achievement, but also by quiet resilience. From October 10, 2011, until his retirement on January 19, 2019, he served as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) without a new posting as Secretary. Even during this prolonged chapter of uncertainty, his devotion to public service never faltered—reflecting strength of character, patience, and unwavering professionalism.
His service as Deputy Commissioner of Sirajganj, along with his contributions to the Tariff Commission, further revealed his deep engagement in regional governance and national economic strategy. Across every responsibility entrusted to him, Md. Ebadot Ali served with dignity, wisdom, and a profound sense of duty.
Today, on the gracious occasion of his Birthday, we pause to honor not only a distinguished public servant, but a life guided by principle, perseverance, and purpose. His legacy continues to inspire future leaders and stands as a shining example of what it means to serve with honor.

A Nation in Mourning
Today is a day of profound sorrow for Bangladesh. The devastating plane crash near Milestone College has shaken us to our core. Innocent lives were lost far too soon, and many others bear the wounds of this unimaginable tragedy.
Our hearts ache for the families whose worlds have been forever changed. We share in their grief, we mourn their loss, and we stand with them in this moment of unbearable pain.
May the souls of the departed find eternal peace, and may those who are injured find comfort and strength. We call upon everyone to join us in heartfelt prayers—for healing, for peace, and for hope amidst this darkness.

In Loving Memory of Sanowar Alam Sir
We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Sanowar Alam Sir,
One of the founding pillars of SCSC and a beloved mentor to generations of students.
From the very beginning of SCSC’s journey, Sir stood as a symbol of excellence, dedication, and wisdom. His tireless efforts, warm presence, and profound impact shaped the school’s foundation and spirit. Though he later moved on from SCSC, his legacy remained rooted in its heart.
Sir Sanowar Alam was more than just a teacher—he was a guide, a source of inspiration, and a true role model. His words continue to echo in our minds, and his values live on in every life he touched.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones,
and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
