Sensei Tulu Ush Shams is appointed as Chairman of BKF Referee Commission.
Sensei Tulu Ush Shams is one of Bangladesh's most accomplished karate referees and sports administrators, with over three decades of contribution to the development of karate.
Key Highlights:
- First Bangladeshi to pass the Asian Karate Federation (AKF) Judge Examination in both Kata and Kumite simultaneously on his first attempt.
- First Bangladeshi appointed as a Member of the Referee Commission of the South Asian Karate Federation (SAKF).
- Among the first three internationally licensed Bangladeshi referees to officiate at the 13th South Asian Games (2019).
- Only Bangladeshi holding the Chief Referee Continental licence from both WUKO and WUKF, and a JKA Judge B licence for Shobu Ippon competition.
- 5th Dan (Godan) recognized by JKA, BKF, and WUKF, and an AKF Accredited Kumite Coach.
- Founder & Chief Technical Director of JKA WF Bangladesh.
- Served as Chairman, BKF Referee Commission (2022–2024), leading the development of refereeing standards and education nationwide.

বাংলাদেশ কারাতে ফেডারেশনের রেফারি কমিশনের চেয়ারম্যান মনোনীত হয়েছেন।
তিন দশকেরও বেশি সময় ধরে কারাতে অঙ্গনে খেলোয়াড়, রেফারি, কোচ ও সংগঠক হিসেবে সফলতার সঙ্গে কাজ করে আসছেন সেনসেই তুলু উশ শামস।
উল্লেখযোগ্য অর্জনসমূহ:
- এশিয়ান কারাতে ফেডারেশন (AKF)-এর কাতা ও কুমিতে—উভয় বিভাগে একই সঙ্গে পরীক্ষায় উত্তীর্ণ প্রথম বাংলাদেশি জাজ।
- South Asian Karate Federation (SAKF)-এর Referee Commission-এর প্রথম বাংলাদেশি সদস্য।
- ১৩তম দক্ষিণ এশিয়ান গেমস (নেপাল, ২০১৯)-এ দায়িত্ব পালনকারী প্রথম তিনজন আন্তর্জাতিক লাইসেন্সধারী বাংলাদেশি রেফারির একজন।
- WUKO ও WUKF কর্তৃক প্রদত্ত Chief Referee Continental লাইসেন্সধারী বাংলাদেশের একমাত্র রেফারি এবং JKA Judge B লাইসেন্সধারী কর্মকর্তা।
