For this year’s class party celebrations, we wanted the students to develop a holistic learning experience besides having fun and enjoyment. As students raised money from the stalls and services they put up on the day of the event, they then donated the money for meaningful social causes for the community. This is certainly a great learning opportunity for the students as to how they can be active and responsible citizens of their community.

Name of the Position: IT Officer

Angelica International School is the only registered English Medium School in Savar. We are searching for the suitable candidates for the position of IT Officer/Jr. IT Officer.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Typing up schools documents e.g. question papers from written documents, and other media.
2. Proofreading completed work and correcting spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors
3. Managing and maintaining the physical and digital document filing system.
4. Performing general office duties such as copying, scanning, printing, and answering phone calls and emails, among others.
5. Ensuring that the office supplies are maintained and informing the supervisor of any issues or requirements.
6. Support users with computer problems and resolve their issues e.g. install and configure software and hardware

Employment Status:
• Full-Time

Educational Requirements:
1. Minimum CGPA 3.00 on a scale of 4 in Bachelor in any field from Public or any reputed University.

Experience Requirements:
1. 1 to 3 year(s)
2. Preference will be given to candidates who have teaching experience in the relevant field.
3. Freshers are also encouraged to apply.

Additional Requirements:
1. Age 27 to 40 years.
2. The ability to type from dictation.
3. Proficiency in office software such as MS Word, Excel, and Google Docs.
4. A keen eye for detail and the ability to spot spelling and grammar errors.

6. Implementing day to day program under the direction of the Principal/Coordinator/Senior Teacher.
7. All other academic responsibilities related to students' exams, parents dealing and other duties as the position requires.
8. Candidates must have knowledge in taking online classes through Zoom or Google or any other web applications.

Part 2

PART 1:
Unlike every year, we decided to bring a thematic change in our class party celebration this year. Instead of handing down students packaged foods, students prepared and presented their own dishes in different stalls. In each of the stalls, different group of students put out different food items for themselves, their teachers and the guardians. This was not only a lot more enjoyable for the students, but also helped them learn important skills like teamwork, organizational knowledge and presentation. At Angelica, we strongly believe that the best teaching is the one that takes place outside the classroom. Our this year’s class party celebration is a reflection of that belief!

Angelica International School promotes children’s independence and self-help skills by providing opportunities for them to participate in routine activities and encouraging self-regulation.
Self-help skills are those abilities which children gradually attain to make them more independent. These skills also encourage young children to start taking responsibility for themselves.
These students are our play class students who are just 3+ years old.

Working with children, we cannot imagine the level of pain and oppression the innocent Palestinian people and children in particular have been going through. As the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians continue to persist, we condemn the human rights violations and injustices committed by Israel and allying nations. We mourn the death of all the innocent civilians and children in Palestine and send prayers for them in these difficult times.

Nousheen Sharmila Ritu is one of our brightest alumni who has finished her O levels from our school. She did her undergraduate degree on Criminology from Dhaka University with a topper position. She has recently finished her masters degree on Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Oxford in UK with scholarship. Colour Week Day - 02 🌿🌲
AIS play group kids started the week with the most restful colour - green!
Green is the most common colour in the natural world. It represents growth, purity, freshness, safety and nature. Green is said to have healing power and is understood to be the most relaxing and restful colour for human eyes.
In order to understand the importance of green colour and nature a big tree was made and painted by the students by using their fingertip. Students loved using their fingertip to paint green leaves on trees 🌲🌿

Our O' Level Chemistry Teacher, Ms. Trina and Ms. Sadia attended the International GCSE Chemistry Teachers’ training organized by Pearson Edexcel. It’s always a valuable experience to receive hands-on training regarding the curriculum and assessments from the awarding organization.

Angelica celebrated World Teachers' Day with the students and teachers through cultural activities and awareness program. The day honors the role teachers play in shaping and transforming our lives. After our parents, our teachers are often the first point of contact in our journey to becoming adults who contribute positively to society and in shaping our future. This day aims to commemorate the anniversary of the 1966 ILO and UNESCO Recommendation adoption concerning the Status of Teachers, setting benchmarks regarding the rights and responsibilities of teachers and standards for their initial preparation and further education, recruitment, employment, and teaching and learning conditions

Students of Pre-Section celebrated Animal Day through Arts & Craft. World Animal Day is an international day of action for animal rights and welfare celebrated annually on October 4.

We collaborated with a Uniform Company to centralize the provision of school uniforms. Our goal is to provide quality uniforms to all students at a reasonable price.
Our uniform’s price will be 20% less than the market price. We will have tailor in school premises who will take sizes of the students and will provide uniform.
There will also be a female tailor to take measurements or orders from female students.

In order, to purchase uniform from the school you have to place pre-order. You have to pay the Uniform Fee at the Accounts Office.

Once the payment is completed, the company will take measurement from the school premises and will deliver the uniform within 14-17 working days. In case of express delivery, the guardian has to notify the school.

Colour Week - Day 1 🌹

it was an easy and fun paper tearing activity. Paper tearing strengthens the muscles of the fingers and whole hand. It develops fine motor control which is necessary for learning to write and it improves eye-hand coordination. This is a great apple craft day for play group kids indeed!

The sun shone extra bright on last Friday as Angelica alumni came together for the first ever school reunion at the campus. Needless to say, it has been an overwhelmingly emotional and nostalgic experience as all the students reunited with their friends and teachers where they spent an important part of their childhood. The entire day was filled with reminiscing old memories, playing fun games, sharing great food and last but not the least, a phenomenal concert organized by the students! This memory will definitely be etched in the hearts of the students and teachers for a long time and inspire them to reunite like this hopefully each coming year!
