IBA JU BBA 28th

Once again, the biggest trophy of the Campus came to the home of IBA JU. Yet another accolade for our very own Team Annihilators, consisting of Rashik Chowdhury, Syed Albhi Fahad and Mehedi Hasan Tusar. Congratulations to them for becoming the Champion of Hult Prize On Campus 2020-21! 💫

We would also like to extend our warmest felicitations to ‘Diva Drive’ from IBA JU 29th, for becoming the Second Runner-up in this journey. 💚

Learning to write a great research paper is helping us in ‘developing skills upon critical evaluation’ along with ‘acquiring the purpose of the knowledge’.

Congratulations to Fatema Nawar Silme, Syed Albhi Fahad and Biozeed Islam Rafi for being one of the Semifinalists of Elocution 1.0.

Last week, The team IBAJUDC A consisted of these 3 won 4/5 rounds in the preliminary round and broke as the 4th top team in the tournament in the open segment. It's a pleasure to see people of this batch doing well in every sector alongside taking online classes regularly in the pandemic. We hope to continue getting success everywhere possible.

Team "Threat Level Midnight" consisting of Mehedi Hasan Tusar Faija Ahmmad Ela Susamna Sultana stood as one of the top 10 finalists of Daraz Presents Briefcase 2.0. The competition was extremely competitive as total number of 515 teams had participated to capture the ultimate glory. Nevertheless, the team didn't lose their charm, rather they proved their competency strongly. We would like to congratulate them and also wish best of luck for their future endeavors.

DIU organized BP Fundraiser 2020 to help the people who needs help in this pandemic. As the whole world has lost the rhythm by the pandemic, it was must needed to bring the debate circuit together once again through online.

We would like to congratulate our very own Fatema Nawar Silme for breaking as one of the top 5 adjudicators to break on “DIUDC Online BP Fundraiser 2020: Inter Club” hosted by Daffodil International University Debating Club – DIUDC.

By not only participating in this tournament to raise fund dedicated to a greater cause, Silme went on to make us proud by securing her place as one of the top performers in this tournament. Notable part is she had her debut as Equity Officer. We wish her all the best so that she will keep the continuity of her brilliant performance intact! 💛

With immense pleasure, we announce that Biozeed Islam Rafi (BBA 28) broke as an open adjudicator on the 2nd International Linkbate Debating Championship. He became of one of the top breaking adjudicators worldwide.

Our cordial congratulation to Biozeed Islam Rafi, who went adjudicating all the way to the semi-finals, leaving his very first mark on the global debate map.

When the whole country is under lockdown, people of IBAJU 28 are donating and staying quarantined for the sake of society. On the meantime they are completing different online courses for self development. Alongside, they are connected in such activities to specialise themselves in both academic and practical sector.

Congratulations to our very own Biozeed Islam Rafi, from IBAJU 28th batch, who was the member of the team IBAJUDC this weekend. The team, consisting of Farhan Rahman, Nazmus Sakib & Biozeed Islam Rafi, IBAJUDC became the champion of FBSDC Mujib Year National Debate Festival 2020 (Inter Varsity Segment) competing among 52 teams from different universities! It was organised by Dhaka University & the final was against FRDC of DU.

IBAJU 28 is showing their excellence in every possible sectors. Better days are coming along with IBAJU-28. Congratulations to team IBAJUDC again for such a success.

Biozeed Islam Rafi and Fatema Nawar Silme from 28th batch was part of Team IBA JU at Interfaith Harmony Debate Festival 2020 organised by Dhaka University.

Team IBA JU (Biozeed Islam Rafi, Fatema Nawar Silme, and Farhan Rahman) became Runners Up while champion team was from Dhaka University. They were the Top breaking team of the tournament consisting of 28 teams from different universities.

The freshman year started with a positive vibes to us. And it's ending up providing the same.
Congratulations 'Team Ononna' consisting of Rashik Chowdhury, Tajrian Hoque Nitul, Yasir Arafat and Albhi Fahad for being the 2nd Runner-up of Hult Prize at Jahangirnagar University 2020. 🎉🎊

This is obviously the last break of the year 2019.

A man's character is not judged after he celebrates a victory, but what he does when his back is against the wall.
Presenting you "Corporate Commandos",the finalist of BUP BCC presents "Corporidlerz 2019". The team consists of 4 people, two of them are our very own, Yasir Arafat and Ali Hasan Abdullah.It has been an amazing run good people. The most important lesson is here, no matter how severe the failure is, you never give up.
Best of luck for the future endeavour.

The first break for 28th batch came back in February with Team '4 Horsemen' consisting of Nabila Islam , Tousif Ibtasham , Yasir Arafat and Mehedi Hasan Tusar.
They reached the final of the nations biggest inter-university business idea competition 'Pioneros'. One of the very few teams in the nations history to reach a national final even before the start of their University Classes.

'4 Horsemen' went on to reach 3 more finals by the end of March.
