Educational Seminar by AAPG Student Chapter, Jahangirnagar University, Successfully Held

Today, the AAPG (American Association of Petroleum Geologists) Student Chapter of Jahangirnagar University successfully organized an enlightening educational seminar aimed at fostering knowledge exchange and professional development in the field of geophysics and energy exploration.

The seminar brought together esteemed industry professionals, academic figures, and enthusiastic students. Among the distinguished guests were:

Md. Moinul Hossen, Deputy General Manager, BAPEX (Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration and Production Company Limited)
Additionally, intellectual representatives from Chevron Jaynta Dutta (south asian coordinator of AAPG), Ashikur rahman (Chevron coordinator), Sirajum Munira (chevron) graced the event with their presence, contributing valuable insights to the discussions.

The event was further enriched by the participation of respected teachers from Jahangirnagar University, who played an integral role in guiding the students and encouraging active engagement during the seminar.

The sessions covered a range of topics, including advancements in geophysical techniques, exploration strategies, and the future of energy resources in Bangladesh. The dialogue between industry experts and students created a platform for sharing real-world experiences, inspiring the next generation of geoscientists to pursue innovative solutions for energy challenges.
