The MIU Law Club successfully organized a public lecture titled “Meaning-Making: Sociological and Educational Perspectives” on 13 October 2025 at the Seminar Room of Manarat International University.

The lecture was delivered by Mr. Muhammad Ubaidul Haque, a Chevening Alumnus and graduate of University College London (UCL), who shared his valuable insights on the sociological and educational dimensions of meaning-making.

The session was chaired by Mr. Abdullahil Gani, Head (In-Charge) of the Department of Law. Esteemed faculty members Professor Mahbubul Islam, Barrister Tasnim Ferdous, Shahriar Bin Wares, Sumaiya Islam, Muhammad Abdul Khalique, and Ansar Uddin were also present and contributed to the engaging discussion.

The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, followed by a note of appreciation to the guest speaker for his thoughtful and inspiring lecture.
