On July 29th, 2025, the Bangladesh Center for Indo-Pacific Affairs (BCIPA) held a seminar titled "𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐒 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐡-𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬" at the Department of International Relations, Jahangirnagar University. Dr. Mohammad Maruf Hasan, Associate Professor, School of International Studies, Sichuan University, China, was the Guest Speaker, while the event was coordinated by Mostakim Bin Motaher, Associate Professor, Department of International Relations, Jahangirnagar University. The Seminar introduced interesting and thought-provoking ideas on improving Bangladesh-China relations amidst the ongoing US tariff regime targeting almost all countries of the Indo-Pacific. The discussion produced both discourse and debate amongst those in attendance. All in all, a very effective seminar in improving awareness about Bangladesh's notable external relations.

A very relevant discussion to be held on the 29th.
