Alhamdulillah!

The three-day relief program for the flood victims by Khilgaon Government High School was successfully completed today with the overall cooperation from everybody. First of all, many thanks to everyone for their spontaneous participation in this event. This shining example of independent spirit and humanity of Bengalis will be remembered in the history of Khilgaon Government High School.
Our total collection has been:

• 1 lakh 65 thousand cash money
• 55 kg (approx) of rice;
• 50 kg (approx) of puffed rice;
• 40 kg (approx) of Chira;
• 30 kg (approx) of sugar;
• 40 liters (approx) of beverages;
• A large number of first aid medicines;
• A large number of clothes;

A good quantity of baby food, dry food, baby diapers, sanitary napkins, mosquito coils, lighters , candles and other essential items are also collected.

For three days we all sent relief goods to the flood victims with the help of As-Sunnah Foundation and Bangladesh Army (COD). We are grateful that our small efforts can help them in some way.

On the huge request of students, teachers and the residents of Khilgaon, the program of "Relief for the Flood Victims" by Khilgaon Government High School is being extended by one more day.
Therefore, the relief collection will continue till August 27.✅

খিলগাঁও সরকারি উচ্চ বিদ্যালয় কর্তৃক বন্যার্ত এলাকার মানুষের জন্য ত্রাণ সংগ্রহ করা হচ্ছে। আমরা সকলেই জানি যে বর্তমানে আমরা একটা স্মরণকালের সেরা দুর্যোগের মধ্য দিয়ে যাচ্ছি, ফেনী কুমিল্লা সহ অসংখ্য জেলা বন্যা প্লাবিত। তাদের উদ্ধারে কাজ চলছে এছাড়াও তাদের এই মুহুর্তে বেশ কিছু প্রয়োজনীয় সামগ্রী প্রয়োজন। তাই আমরা ত্রান সামগ্রী সংগ্রহের উদ্যোগ নিয়েছি।
প্রকৃতির বিপর্যয়ে পড়া বন্যার্ত ভাই-বোনদের পাশে দাঁড়ানোর এই মহান কাজে আপনার অংশগ্রহণ কাম্য।

Join the Flood Relief Effort!

Khilgaon Government High School is organizing a relief collection drive for people affected by the floods. As we all know, we are currently facing one of the worst disasters in memory. Many districts, including Feni and Comilla, are inundated by floods. Rescue operations are underway, but they also urgently need various essential supplies. Therefore, we have initiated a relief collection drive.

Your participation in this noble cause of standing by our flood-affected brothers and sisters is highly appreciated.

Relief Items:

Cash (any amount)
Saline
Power banks
Baby diapers
Water purification tablets
Clothes
Dry food (chira, muri, lentils, biscuits, etc.)
Rice, lentils, salt
Medicines (for fever, stomach problems, skin diseases, etc.)
Torchlights/candles
Relief Collection Dates: 24th and 25th August

Our country is in dire need of help at the moment. As we all know, thousands of people have fallen victim to an unforseen flood. At this very moment they are in serious life and health threat. As a citizen of Bangladesh, it is our responsibility to take a stand for them. As it is not possible to get easily in touch with the flooded areas, students of Khilgaon Government High School pleads you all to pray and send help for them in any shape or form you can. You can also donate to your trusted organizations for them. Stay safe, look after each other and pray.
