It is needless to mention that there are no alternatives of a well-equipped institution, well- experienced teachers and well-designed international standard curriculum for making up a future generation aiming to face the upcoming challenges of life and livelihood – both at home and abroad. We along with our dedicated teachers are committed to nurture your siblings in gaining a solid and sound base of knowledge that will help achieving excellence in every sphere of their lives. For this noble notion towards education we have planned and designed our campus and class rooms in such a way that it could really touch and attract the hearts of our young learners and future leaders. We have kept it in our mind that young hearts are very colourful and creative in every endeavour of theirs. NORTH WEST INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, RANGPUR. A few words from the Principal
North West International School has started its Journey in September, 2015 with a noble notion to impart the quality education of international standard in the Northern periphery. As we know the whole world has been shrinked into a global village now a days, so our prime object is to educate our next generation in the international qualifications so that they could prove and justify their knowledge in comparison to the other students of different countries of the world. Our motto is to achieve excellence not only in gaining knowledge but also to prove it to be the best in the field of job market or livelihood based education. That is why our slogan is education for life & livelihood
We are very much concerned and committed to provide the quality education to our students. For this we have consisted our teaching staff with a good number of experienced and devoted teachers having (5 – 15) five to fifteen years teaching credentials in ‘O’ & ‘A’ Levels curriculum nuder the London University. Along with the academic operations we have given a great emphasis on extra curricular activities to develop our students mentally and physically sound in the true sense. We believe that the role of teachers, students and guardians is equally important for achieving the aspired goal. For this reason we have tried our level best to keep a congenial, Co-operative and a friendly environment both for guardians, teachers and most importantly for our young learners. Academic Overview:
For achieving the excellence in academic areas NWIS has taken all the productive measures that are inevitable both for the students and teaching and non teaching staffs. For counseling the students effectively NWIS has introduced an advisory service system. Regular meeting of parents and teachers will be conducted to assess the academic performance and other issues related to the students welfare. In NWIS we have developed an effective teaching methodology where students’ feedbacks on teachers’ performance help teachers to know their strength and weakness in teaching. Not only that, for students’ performance we have introduced internal examinations and the results of which are sent to the parents and guardians regularly. Faculty Members:
One of the leading strengths of NWIS is the highly experienced, qualified, cultured and committed teaching staffs who are working in NWIS as the full-time faculty members of the institute. Faculty members are academicians of the highest caliber who are best at what they do-imparting knowledge to the overall class of students. Faculty members arrange regular discussions with students to improve communication skills and break-free from rigid mindsets. NWIS has developed a well equipped modern academic library which is enriched with reference books, story books, novels, poetry, general knowledge books, magazines, newspapers, journals and CDs etc. Science Laboratories:
As science is an integral part of our life so NWIS has the notion to set up a well furnished integrated science lab in the school for meeting the indomitable thirst of solving the mysteries of science by our students. We have arranged also a well experienced support staff to guide the students in the lab. Computer Laboratory:
We are desirous to provide a well-equipped and full-fledged computer laboratory with the latest computers and other peripherals. Broadband internet facility is to be provided for the students. Well-experienced support staff will be guiding the students while working in the laboratory. Arts and Sports clubs:
NWIS has taken an extra measure to accomplish its students with all the extra- curricular and co-curricular activities related to Arts & sports so that the students could provide evidence of their talents in the areas. Frequent cultural functions and annual arts festivals, sports provide opportunities for students to relax mentally amidst tight academic schedule. Language Club :
NWIS has a plan to introduce “Language Club”with a free membership for the students and guardians to cope with updated information on English language and share with other professionals having modern knowledge on life skill based education. Debate Club:
With a view to enabling the young speakers well skilled in debating NWIS has decided to set up a debate club in the school. It will also help our promising speakers to take part in National & International debate competitions.
