The event featured the expertise of Dr. Rehana Rasid Rumana, a renowned Gynecologist specializing in women's health and maternity care.
Dr. Rumana actively participated in the program, delivering informative sessions on topics crucial to prenatal and postnatal care. Her presentations likely covered prenatal nutrition, the importance of regular check-ups during pregnancy, labor and delivery preparation, and newborn care. May 28, World Menstruation Day. Since 2014, this day has been observed and observed, 71 percent of the country's women are still not in question. Women are at risk due to ignorance about menstruation. Urban women use sanitary napkins while poor rural women wear cloths. Women should know, speak and be aware of this important part of their lives.
Menstrual Hygiene Day is observed annually on May 28th, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of good menstrual hygiene management and break the silence surrounding menstruation. At OBAT Healthcare Center, we celebrated this day by organizing informative sessions and discussions led by our dedicated female doctor, Suriya Jabin Jamal, aimed at educating girls and women about menstrual hygiene practices.
Dr. Suriya Jabin Jamal conducted several educational sessions throughout the day, addressing various aspects of menstrual hygiene management. These sessions covered topics such as:
Importance of maintaining good menstrual hygiene.
Proper methods of menstrual hygiene management, including the use of sanitary pads, menstrual cups, and proper disposal of menstrual waste.
Common menstrual disorders and their management.
Addressing myths and misconceptions surrounding menstruation.
Importance of regular check-ups and seeking medical advice for menstrual health issues.

On 04 March-2024, OBAT Healthcare center Rangpur distributed Nutrition food to mothers of newly born babies. These women are being supported by Our OBAT Maternity project. 101 mothers received nutrition packages in this program.In this program, Our honorable guest Dr Rehana Rasid Rumana MBBS (Gynae & Obst ), Retired Major Md Aynal Kader ( Director of Impulse Hospital),
Md Shahjada Arman( Counselor 26 no ward),
Eng.Shahadat Hossain( Counselor 28 no ward),
Md Nasim Ahmed Sonu ( General secretary of 27 no ward Awami league), Alhaz Md Sabiul Haque ( Director of Rangpur Chamber of Commerce),
Area Manager of Renata & Unimed UniHealth, Dr Abul Kashem (Manager & General Physician of OBAT Healthcare Center), Md Shahinur Rahman(Project Officer OBAT Helpers Rangpur), Md Anamul Haque ( Accounts Officer OBAT Helpers Rangpur) and All other staff of OBAT Helpers were present in this program. Dr Abul Kashem (OBAT Healthcare Manager & General Physician) gave advice to mothers of newborn babies on how to nurture their babies at early age.
To meet up the needs of nutrition for the babies OBAT Healthcare Rangpur took this initiative.
