What is a trivial zero?
The trivial zeros are the negative even integers –2, –4, –6, –8,…, so-called because it is relatively easy to demonstrate that ζ(2n) = 0 for natural numbers n. The nontrivial zeros are much more mysterious.

On the occasion of Gonitzoggo’s third anniversary, we welcome all female math olympiad enthusiasts to our first ever EMK Gonitzoggo Girls’ Camp. Gonitzoggo’s aim has always been to provide a platform for Bangladeshi olympiad participants to practice and develop their skills. We believe now is the time to work even closer to have a more constructive influence.

The event will go on for eight days. High achieving participants from previous editions of national and international math olympiad will work as your instructors. You will get to know all the tricks of the trade from this online camp. The best part of it all is that participation is free!

About the camp:

1. It is a female-only camp,
2. It will have 7 sessions and will run from 17th January to 27th January,
3. The instructors include IMO medalists and TST attendees,
4. It is an online camp,
5. Participation is free.

#শ্রবণা

বাংলা নাম শ্রবণা। বিদেশি নাম Altair. জ্যোতির্বিদ্যার ভাষায় ডাকা হয় Alpha Aquilae নামে। বাংলা শ্রাবণ-ভাদ্র মাসের মেঘমুক্ত আকাশে সন্ধার অন্ধকারে পুব আকাশে দেখা মেলে এই নক্ষত্রের। ঈগল মণ্ডলের মস্তকে এর অবস্থান। ১৯১৮ সালের ৭ জুলাই নক্ষত্রটি আবিস্কার করেছিলেন বাঙালী বিজ্ঞানী রাধাগোবিন্দ চন্দ্র (১৮৭৮-১৯৭৫)। পৃথিবী থেকে ১৭ আলকবর্ষ দূরে থাকা এই নক্ষত্রের উজ্জলতা সুর্যের থেকেও ১০ গুন বেশি। বাংলা শ্রাবণ মাসের নাম হয়েছে এই নক্ষত্র থেকেই।
