স্পোকেন ইংলিশে বহুল ব্যবহৃত ৫ টি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ স্ট্রাকচার (Structure) দেওয়া হলো। প্রতিটি স্ট্রাকচারের ১০টি করে উদাহরণসহ।

Structure 1: I want to + verb

মানে: আমি ... করতে চাই

1. I want to eat. – আমি খেতে চাই।

2. I want to go there. – আমি সেখানে যেতে চাই।

3. I want to learn English. – আমি ইংরেজি শিখতে চাই।

4. I want to meet him. – আমি ওর সাথে দেখা করতে চাই।

5. I want to sleep now. – আমি এখন ঘুমাতে চাই।

6. I want to help you. – আমি তোমাকে সাহায্য করতে চাই।

7. I want to talk to her. – আমি ওর সাথে কথা বলতে চাই।

6. I am going to meet him. – আমি ওর সাথে দেখা করতে যাচ্ছি।

4. I need to talk to you. – আমার তোমার সাথে কথা বলা দরকার।

7. I need to call my mom. – আমার মাকে ফোন করা দরকার।

8. I need to finish this. – আমার এটা শেষ করা দরকার।

পড়া শেষ করে Done লিখতে ভুলবেন না।

গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কিছু সেনটেন্স স্ট্রাকচার।

৩) আমি উপদেশ দিয়েছি - I have advised.
৪) আমি উপদেশ দিয়েছিলাম - I had advised.
৫) আমি উপদেশ দিব - I will advise
৬) আমি উপদেশ দিতে পারি - I can advice.
৭) আমার উপদেশ দেওয়া উচিত - I Should advise.
৮) আমি উপদেশ দিতে পারতাম - I could advise.
৯) আমাকে উপদেশ দিতে হয় - I am to advise.
১০. আমাকে উপদেশ দিতে হবে - I have to advise.
১১) আমাকে উপদেশ দিতেই হবে - I must have to advise.
১২) আমাকে উপদেশ দিতে হয়েছিল - I had to advise.
১৩) আমার উপদেশ দিতে ইচ্ছে করছে - I feel like advising.
১৪) আমি উপদেশ দিতে চাই - I would like to advise.
১৫) আমার উপদেশ দিতে সমস্যা হচ্ছে - I am having problem advising.
১৬) কি হবে যদি আমি উপদেশ না দেই - What if I don’t advise.

আমি, একজন সাবেক ডিপ্লোমা ছাত্র ও বর্তমান কারিগরি শিক্ষক হয়ে ছাত্রদের এই যৌক্তিক আন্দোলনকে পূর্ণ সমর্থন জানাচ্ছি। ✊✊

যেসব দাবিতে আন্দোলনে পলিটেকনিক শিক্ষার্থীরা-

1.জুনিয়র ইনস্ট্রাক্টর পদে ক্র্যাফট ইনস্ট্রাক্টরদের ৩০ শতাংশ প্রমোশন কোটা বাতিল করতে হবে।

2.ডিপ্লোমা ইন ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং কোর্সে যেকোনো বয়সে ভর্তির সুযোগ বাতিল করতে হবে।

3.উপসহকারী প্রকৌশলী ও সমমান (১০ম গ্রেড) থেকে পাস করা শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য সংরক্ষিত থাকা সত্ত্বেও যেসব প্রতিষ্ঠানে ডিপ্লোমা প্রকৌশলীদের নিম্ন পদে নিয়োগ দেওয়া হচ্ছে, তাদের বিরুদ্ধে আইনি ব্যবস্থা।

4.কারিগরি সেক্টর পরিচালনায় পরিচালক, সহকারী পরিচালক, বোর্ড চেয়ারম্যান, উপসচিব, পরীক্ষা নিয়ন্ত্রক, অধ্যক্ষসহ সংশ্লিষ্ট সব পদে কারিগরি শিক্ষাবহির্ভূত জনবল নিয়োগ নিষিদ্ধ করতে হবে।

5.স্বতন্ত্র 'কারিগরি ও উচ্চশিক্ষা' মন্ত্রণালয় প্রতিষ্ঠা ও 'কারিগরি শিক্ষা সংস্কার কমিশন' গঠন করতে হবে।

6.পলিটেকনিক ও মনোটেকনিক ইনস্টিটিউট থেকে পাস করা শিক্ষার্থীদের উচ্চশিক্ষার সুযোগের লক্ষ্যে উন্নত মানের টেকনিক্যাল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় প্রতিষ্ঠা করতে হবে।

উপরের প্রত্যেকটা দাবিই যুক্তিক। এভাবে আর আশ্বাস না দিয়ে দ্রুত দাবিগুলো বাস্তবায়নের মাধ্যমে কারিগরি শিক্ষার মান উন্নত করার আহবান জানাচ্ছি।

তিনটি সহজ ও মজার ইংরেজি গল্প দিচ্ছি, যেগুলো ইংরেজি শেখার জন্য উপযোগী। গল্পগুলোর বাংলা অনুবাদও দেওয়া আছে।

# # # **1. The Clever Rabbit (চালাক খরগোশ)**

**Story:**
One day, a hungry fox saw a rabbit eating a carrot in the forest. The fox wanted to eat the rabbit, so he said, "Little rabbit, you look delicious! I will eat you!"

The rabbit was clever. He said, "Mr. Fox, wait! The king lion is coming for a feast. He asked me to find ten animals for him. Would you like to join?"

The fox got scared and ran away. The rabbit smiled and continued eating his carrot.

**Moral:** Intelligence can save you from danger.

**বাংলা অনুবাদ:**
একদিন একটি ক্ষুধার্ত শেয়াল বনে একটি খরগোশকে গাজর খেতে দেখল। শেয়াল খরগোশটিকে খেতে চাইল। সে বলল, "ছোট খরগোশ, তুমি খুব সুস্বাদু দেখাচ্ছ! আমি তোমাকে খাব!"

খরগোশটি চালাক ছিল। সে বলল, "মিস্টার শেয়াল, অপেক্ষা করুন! রাজা সিংহ একটি ভোজের জন্য আসছেন। তিনি আমাকে দশটি প্রাণী খুঁজে আনতে বলেছেন। আপনি কি যোগ দিতে চান?"

শেয়াল ভয় পেয়ে পালাল। খরগোশটি হেসে আবার গাজর খেতে লাগল।

**নীতিকথা:** বুদ্ধিমত্তা আপনাকে বিপদ থেকে বাঁচাতে পারে।

# # # **2. The Greedy Dog (লোভী কুকুর)**

**Story:**
A dog found a big bone near a butcher’s shop. He was very happy and held it tightly in his mouth. On his way home, he crossed a bridge over a river.

When he looked down, he saw another dog with a bone in the water. He didn’t realize it was his own reflection. Greedy to get that bone too, he barked.

As soon as he opened his mouth, his own bone fell into the river and was lost forever.

**Moral:** Greed leads to loss.

**বাংলা অনুবাদ:**
এক কুকুর একটি কসাইয়ের দোকানের কাছে একটি বড় হাড় পেল। সে খুব খুশি হয়ে হাড়টি মুখে শক্ত করে ধরে বাড়ি ফিরছিল। পথে সে একটি নদীর ওপর সাঁকো পার হচ্ছিল।

নিচে তাকাতেই সে দেখল জলে আরেকটি কুকুর মুখে হাড় নিয়ে দাঁড়িয়ে আছে। সে বুঝতে পারল না যে এটি তার নিজের প্রতিবিম্ব। লোভে সে সেই হাড়টিও নিতে চাইল এবং ঘেউ ঘেউ করে উঠল।

মুখ খুলতেই তার নিজের হাড়টি নদীতে পড়ে গেল এবং চিরতরে হারিয়ে গেল।

**নীতিকথা:** লোভে পাঁচও মেলে না।

**Story:**
In summer, a grasshopper sang and played all day. An ant worked hard, collecting food for winter.

But when winter came, the grasshopper had no food and was starving. He went to the ant’s house and begged for food.

The ant said, "You sang in summer, now dance in winter!"

**Moral:** Work hard today for a better tomorrow.

**বাংলা অনুবাদ:**
গ্রীষ্মকালে একটি ঘাসফড়িং সারাদিন গান করে আর খেলাধুলা করত। আর একটি পিঁপড়া কঠোর পরিশ্রম করে শীতের জন্য খাবার জমা করছিল।

ঘাসফড়িং হেসে বলল, "এত পরিশ্রম কেন? জীবন উপভোগ কর!"

কিন্তু শীতকাল আসতেই ঘাসফড়িংয়ের কাছে কোনো খাবার ছিল না। সে ক্ষুধায় কষ্ট পেয়ে পিঁপড়ার কাছে গেল এবং খাবার চাইল।

পিঁপড়া বলল, "তুমি গ্রীষ্মে গান করেছ, এখন শীতে নাচো!"

**নীতিকথা:** আগামীর জন্য আজ পরিশ্রম করো।
