ঠিক এক বছর আগেই এই দিনেই একটি নির্বাচনের মাধ্যমে রাঙ্গামাটি বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ছোট ক্যাম্পাসে এক ঝাঁক শিক্ষার্থী ও শ্রদ্ধেয় শিক্ষকমন্ডলীর হাত ধরেই জন্ম নিয়েছিলো স্টারস্ অব সাকসেস ক্লাব। দেখতে দেখতে আজ এক বছর। সময়ের চাকার সাথে বেড়েছে ক্লাবের গতি। ক্লাবের নতুন চিন্তা ভাবনার সাথে যুক্ত হয়েছে দেশ বিদেশের নামকরা গুণীজন,সম্ভ্রান্ত ব্যাক্তিবর্গ ও নতুন নতুন সদস্য।

We were enjoyed a lot. Our jokes master shared a joke with everyone and that was awesome . Our President shared his thaughtfull speech to us. He wished us warmly.

What are the benefits of joining a SoS Club?

One of the main reasons is that you can improve your communication skills without spending any money. As you all know, communication skills is the number one skill that all employers look for in candidates. You need it for your oral defense, job interviews, BCS oral, and at every minute during your work.

I recently received a message from a student who requested me to advise him on how he can improve his communications skills. I quote his message below:

From the very beginning of my career journey, I had an aim to improve my public speaking skill. I have heard of a Toastmasters Club which helps its member to practice and improve public speaking skill.

You are a very prominent public speaker and Toastmasters Club awardee.

What did I do?
I sent a link to Toastmasters International from which he can find a suitable club. Unfortunately, he may not join the club due to huge membership fees. I told him that, we started our Stars of Success(SoS) club to overcome the challenge of higher cost and allow to get the same benefits of Toastmasters Club without paying expensive membership fees.
I think those who have joined SoS Club and are regularly participating in club activities are definitely lucky and wise.

Tomorrow (Friday, 20th Nov 2020 at 7.30 pm) you have a golden opportunity to see what a SoS club is about. Let us know if you are joining it for the first time.

প্রতিটা সকাল শুরু হয় আমাদের নতুন কোনো স্বপ্ন নিয়ে। আর এই স্বপ্ন কে কেন্দ্র করেই আমাদের পথচলা। আর এই স্বপ্ন কে বাস্তবায়ন করতে SoS-Stars of Success ক্লাবের পথচলা। জীবনে সফল হতে হলে আগে একটি লক্ষ্য নির্ধারন করতে হয় । এই লক্ষ্য পূরন করার জন্য স্বপ্ন দেখতে হয় । অধিকাংশ মানুষই সফলতা অর্জনে ব্যর্থ হয় । কারণ তারা জানেনা স্বপ্ন কভাবে দেখতে হয় । যে কোনো সাফল্য বা অর্জনের মূলেই থাকে একটি স্বপ্ন । এটাই মানুষকে পরিশ্রম করায় , অসম্ভবকে সম্ভব করার চেষ্টা করতে উৎসাহ দেয় । একজন মানুষের জীবনের ছোট বড় যে কোনো অর্জনের পেছনে থাকে একটি স্বপ্ন । এটা মানুষকে প্রতিদিন , প্রতিমুহুর্তে অনুপ্রেরণা দেয় , যার মাঝে স্বপ্ন নেই তার মাঝে আশা বা উৎসাহ নেই।

স্বপ্ন সেটা নয় যেটা মানুষ, ঘুমিয়ে ঘুমিয়ে দেখে; স্বপ্ন সেটাই যেটা পূরনের প্রত্যাশা, মানুষকে ঘুমাতে দেয় না। - এ পি জে আব্দুল কালাম.

আসুন আমরা একতাবদ্ধ হয়ে স্বপ্ন পূরনের প্রত্যাশায় ক্লাবের সাথে দৃঢ় প্রতিজ্ঞ হই। এটাই সবার পক্ষ থেকে আমার একান্ত কামনা। SoS-Stars of Success ক্লাব সবসময় নতুন নতুন মুখ দেখতে আগ্রহী।

💥বই পড়ার অভিজ্ঞতা -২💥

“নেভার স্টপ লার্নিং"
-আইমান সাদিক

আমাদের অধিকাংশই বই বলতে মূলত দুরকমের বইকে বুঝি! একটা পাঠ্যবই অন্যটা গল্পের বই। হাজারাে ফিকশনের ভীড়ে আমরা আজকাল অন্য কোনও বিষয় নিয়েও যে লেখা যেতে পারে তা ভুলতেই বসেছি।বই পড়ে আমরা আমাদের কল্পনাশক্তি সৃজনশীলতা ইত্যাদি গুণাবলির বিকাশ ঘটাতে পারি। কেমন হতাে যদি বই পড়ে বদলে ফেলা যেত নিজেকে? শেখা যেতাে হতাশা থেকে মুক্তি পাওয়ার, অপরিচিত কারও সাথে প্রথমবারের মতাে ফোনে কথা বলার কিংবা সময়কে সঠিকভাবে কাজে লাগানাের মতাে দারুণ কার্যকর অভিজ্ঞতা এবং বাস্তব জীবনে অত্যন্ত প্রয়ােজনীয় কিছু কৌশল।
এ বিষয়ে 'Never Stop Learning' বইটিতে সংক্ষেপে কিছু কৌশল বর্ণিত আছে।

পড়ে ফেলুন এই মূল্যবান বইটি,আর প্রসারিত করুন আপনার জ্ঞান।🙂

The nature of time is a complex thing. It's impossible for someone to control or influence the flow of time. But it's possible for someone to become the master of "Time Management"! Being the master of your time means getting more done, staying energized, and doing more things you enjoy. But unfortunately,time is limited! No matter how hard we try to slice it,we get only 24 hours a day. Within this short period of time,we are to do a lot of things. Our ultimate goal is to gain success! But the way to success is not very easy.

"If you really look closely, most overnight successes took a long time." -Steve Jobs

Managing time effectively is the most important key to success. One can accomplish more with less effort, ability to make decision in difficult situation improves, and finally become more successful in life. But it's not so easy as it sounds. There are some certain principles in this regard, which includes-
1. Commitment: One has to be committed to devote time to a specific task, otherwise the task shouldn't be put in the schedule. Be brutally realistic,not idealistic while making the schedule.
2. Pursue fun with a vengeance: One has to make time for enjoyable and satisfying activities like sports, organisations, entertainment or other interests.
3. One thing at a time: The word "Multitasking" is nothing but a myth. Actually, we only switch several tasks back and forth which consumes more time,more cost, more power and also the tasks are not properly done. So stick to one task,finish it in due time and then start another one.
4. Focus on task: Time is a valuable thing,but if we rush to do several works in a limited time, it becomes worse. So determination and focus are must to a specific task is a must.
5. Routine: One can make routine on daily work basis,but following it is very difficult. So it has to become a habit, and good habits make life easier.
6. Flexibility: Make some free time slots in the schedule, so that whenever we cannot finish the fixed task in due time,then it can be done in this free time. This free time is called "make-up time".
7. Making proper environment: This requires both physical and mental support. Minimisation of distraction and maximisation of focus can lead one to success.

Finally I can say that, choosing your goal is your own choice. It is you and only you who can decide to become successful in life or not. If you choose the right path, success is not so far from you.

আমরা সবাই কম বেশি বই পড়ি। আর যখন প্রচণ্ড হতাশা আমাদের ঘিরে রাখে তখন মোটিভেশনাল বই পড়তে কার না ভালো লাগে!
একঘেয়েমি পাঠ্য বই থেকে বের হয়ে নিজেকে আরেকটু ঝালিয়ে নেওয়ার জন্য হলেও কিছু অনুপ্রেরণা মূলক বই পড়া প্রয়োজন।
তেমনই একটা বই বরেণ্য লেখক আনিসুল হকের "সফল যদি হতে চাও"।

বইয়ের শুরুতে লেখক নাটকীয়ভাবে নিজেকে ব্যর্থ বলে গণ্য করেছেন। আর সফলতার পরামর্শ দানের বেলায় ব্যর্থরা সফলদের চেয়ে সফল। আমাদের পথ চলার মধ্যে আমরা সবাই কোনো না কোনো ভাবে ব্যর্থ হই,আর ব্যর্থতা আমাদের এভাবে নিজেকে হতাশাগ্রস্ত করে দেয় আমরা পুনরায় স্বপ্ন দেখার কথা ভুলেই যায়। কিন্তু এ ব্যর্থতাকে আশীর্বাদ হিসেবে নিয়ে ভুল থেকে শিক্ষা নিয়ে আমরা সফলতার কেন্দ্রে পৌঁছে যেতে পারি।
বইটি লেখক শুরু করেছেন স্বপ্ন দিয়ে। স্বপ্ন কী? স্বপ্ন দেখলে তা পূর্ণ হওয়া কতটা জরুরী? শুরুর দিকে আছে এ. পি. জে আবদুল কালামের ব্যর্থতার গল্প। তিনি হতে চেয়েছিলেন বিমানবাহিনীর পাইলট। দেরাদুন গিয়ে ভর্তি পরীক্ষা দিয়েছিলেন। আটজনকে নেওয়া হয়, আর তিনি পরীক্ষায় হলেন নবম।এ. পি. জে আব্দুল কালামের মতো হুমায়ূন আহমেদ, অধ্যাপক এম জাহিদ হাসান, বিল গেটস ও স্ট্রাকচারাল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিংয়ের আইনস্টাইন এফ. আর. খান ছাড়াও আরো অনেক সফল ব্যক্তিদের সফলতার গল্প এখানে উঠে এসেছে।
সবকিছুর সারমর্ম হিসেবে বলা যায়, লেখক বলতে চেয়েছেন আমাদের শুধু পরীক্ষার ফলের উপর গুরুত্ব না দিয়ে প্রত্যেক শিক্ষার্থীকে আবৃত্তি, সাংস্কৃতিক প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশ নিতে হবে। মনে রাখতে হবে, ২০ জন শীর্ষ ধনীর মধ্য ১ জনও ক্লাসের ফার্স্ট বয় নেই।

বইয়ের মতে সফল হওয়ার সূত্র আসলে এই-

১. যা ভালো লাগে তা-ই করো;

২. কাজকে ভালোবাসো, ফলকে নয়। কাজ উপভোগ করে ফলের আশা করে কাজ করো না;

৩. প্রচুর পড়ো;

৪. শিল্প, সাহিত্য, সংস্কৃতি, খেলাধুলা, সমাজসেবা, মানুষের সেবার চর্চা করো;

৫. নৈতিক মূল্যবোধ বজায় রাখো;

৬. স্বাস্থ্য ভালো রাখো;

৭. অন্যের সাফল্যে খুশি হও;

৮. যােগাযােগ বাড়াও। নিজেকে প্রকাশ করতে শেখাে;

৯. প্রচণ্ড সাধনা করো;

১০. ব্যর্থতায় ভেঙে পড়ে না।

সফলতা বলতে শুধু যে নিজের লক্ষ্যে পৌঁছানো বা লেখাপড়া করে গাড়ি চড়া তা নয়। সফলতা হলো জীবনকে সুন্দর করা, নিজের দক্ষতা ও যোগ্যতার সীমাকে প্রসারিত করা। জীবন ও জগৎ সম্পর্কে কৌতূহল ও সচেতন করে তোলা। মানবতার উপকারে আসা।

বইটি আমার গত বছরের পড়া,যখন ভর্তি পরীক্ষা নামক হতাশা জর্জরিত করে দিচ্ছিলো তখন একটু শান্তির আশায় আমি বাতিঘরে গিয়ে বইটি পড়ি।
তাই নিজে কে মোটিভেটেড করা এ বইয়ের অভিজ্ঞতা আমি সবার সাথে শেয়ার করলাম।🙂

আর মাত্র কয়েক ঘন্টা বাকী! সন্ধ্যে সাড়ে সাত টা বাজে আমাদের কাঙ্ক্ষিত মিটিং আরম্ভ হতে যাচ্ছে।
আশা রাখছি,সবাই যার যার মূল্যবান সময় নিয়ে আজ সঠিক সময়ে মিটিং এ যোগদান করবেন। মিটিং শুরু হাওয়ার অন্তত ১০মিনিট আগে লিংকে প্রবেশ করার জন্য বিনীত ভাবে অনুরোধ করা হলো।

আমাদের সম্মানিত রানা স্যার এর উপদেশ নিয়ে আমি সাদরে আমন্ত্রণ জানাচ্ছি যারা এতো দিন যাবত আমাদের এই ক্লাব এর সাথে যুক্ত থেকে অক্লান্ত পরিশ্রম করে গেছেন তাদের..😊

SoS-Stars of Success . অনেকেই এই ক্লাব এর সাথে পরচিত আছেন । আগামীকাল (০৯/১০/২০২০) রোজ শুক্রবার সন্ধ্যা ৭:৩০ টায় ক্লাব এর অনলাইন সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হবে ।যেখানে উপস্থিত থাকবেন ক্লাব সকল কমিটি মেম্বার সহ সিএসই ডিপার্টমেন্ট এর চেয়ারম্যান শ্রদ্ধেয় রানা চাকমা স্যার ।

আমাদের এই সভার মূল উদ্দেশ্য হবে,-
১.Executive committee তে বাকি খালি পদ গুলো পূরণ করা।
২.১৬ই অক্টোবর ২০২০ এ যে আমাদের ক্লাবের নিয়মিত মিটিং অনুষ্ঠিত হবে,তার জন্য মিটিং এজেন্ডা তৈরি করা।
৩.উল্লেখিত মিটিং এ কে কোন দায়িত্ব পালন করবে, তা নির্ধারণ করা।
৪.উল্লেখিত মিটিং এর theme choose করা।
৫.১৬তারিখ যে মিটিং টি হবে,টা প্রচার কার্যের জন্য দায়িত্ব বুঝিয়ে দেয়া।

✍️আমরা সবাই আসলে এটা মনে করি যে "পড়ালেখার চাপে বাঁচি না আবার এইদিকে club এর কাজও করব। এতকিছু সামলাতে পারবা না "। এটা মুলত সবার মাথায় বেশি চলে।

সত্যি বলব মিথ্যা না আমি নিজেও শুরুতে এমনটাই মনে করছিলাম যে আসলেই পারব কি না এতকিছু করতে।
তারপরও সাহস করে join করি।
But join করার পর যা দেখছি আর বুঝছি তা দেখে আমি রীতিমতো অনেক সহজ অনুভব করছি। মানে বিষয়টা যতটা কঠিন মনে হয়ছিল তা একদমি না।

আমি সবাইকে এটা বলতে চাই যে এখানে রানা স্যার আর হাতে গণা কয়েকটা বড় ভাইয়া আর আপু ছাড়া প্রায় আমরা সবাই ভুল English এ কথা বলি। বলতে গেলে যা মনে বা মাথায় আসে তাই বলি একদম freely. এতে আরকিছু লাভ হোক বা না হোক আমাদের একটা বড় লাভ সেদিনই হয় English সবার সমানে কথা বলার সে জড়তাটা ভাঙ্গে। ভুল হলে হোক গা ভাই atlest try তো করছি। এখনো কেউ হাসে না পারলে আরও হাত তালি দেয় মুখ থেকে English word বের করছি just শুধু এর জন্যই আর কিছুর জন্য না। ভুল হলে হোক আস্তে আস্তে ভুল করতে করতে ঠিক হবে এটাই সবাই বিবেচনা করে।
অধিকাংশ সময় আমরা meeting এ চুপচাপ এই থাকি যদি না আমার বলার সময় আসে বা আমাকে কিছু বলতে বলা হয়।তাও আমার বলার সময় আসলে আমাকে 2 min English এ কথা বলতে হয়।যদি তাও না পারি এর আগে শেষ করে দিতে চাই ব্যক্তব তাহলেও সেটাও ঠিক আছে।কোন বকা ঝকা বা লজ্জার কিছুই নাই।
কেউ যদি মনে করে যে 10 min - 12 min english এ কথা বলতে হবে তাহলে আমি তার ভুল ধারণাটাকে ভেঙ্গে দিলাম।
আমাকে যা যা বলতে হবে বা ready করে রাখতে হবে তা আগে থেকেই জানিয়ে দেওয়া হয়। অন্তত একটা মিটিং থেকে আরেকটা মিটিং এর মাঝে অনেক লম্বা একটা সময়ের ব্যবধান থাকে। তো মিটিং টাতে বলে দেওয়া হবে যে তোমার পরের মিটিং এ কি করতে হবে..

শ্রদ্ধেয় Rana Chakma স্যারের জন্য একটা হাত তালি দেওয়া উচিত।😊কারণ আমার মনে হয় না কোন versity তে এমনভাবে একটা club গঠন করে কোন স্যার এত সুন্দর করে সবার সাথে কথা বলে বিষয়গুলাকে বুঝায় support করে বা এতটা মাথা ঘামায়।তো এটা আমাদের জন্য অনেক বড় একটা + point যে একটা স্যার আমাদের সাথে অনেক ভাল ভাবে connected আর আমাদের ভালোর কথা এতটা চিন্তা করে।
আবার আসি কি কি লাভ হবে সেটা নিয়ে-
তো লাভ এটাই হবে যে আপনি যখন চাকরীর জন্য ভাইবা তে যাবেন তখন সবকিছু আপনার থেকে English এ বলতে হবে আপনি যদি এই Club এর সাথে যুক্ত থাকেন তাহলে আপনি ঐদিনটাই যে সফলতা আসবে সেটার জন্য এই club টাকে এবং রানা স্যারকে ধন্যবাদ দিবেন।
আর অনেক ভাল ভাল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ভাল ভাল student ভাইবা তে গিয়ে অনেক বড় একটা ভয়ের সম্মুখীন হয়। মুলত English এ কথা বলার skill টা না থাকার ধরুন এমনটা হয়। কারণ আপনি অনেক ভাল programming পরেন বা CSE বিষয়ে একজন ভাল শিক্ষার্থী কিন্তু একটা code English এ বলে কাউকে বুঝাই দিতে পারলেন না তাহলে তো অনেক ভয়ানক একটা বিষয়।😊
এছাড়াও আপনি এখানে উপস্থাপনা করা শিখতেছেন আরও বিভিন্ন দ্বায়িত্ব সম্পর্কে জ্ঞান অর্জন করতেছেন যেগুলা একমাত্র আপনি add হলেই বুঝতে পারবেন তা না হলে না।
আমি আমার দ্বায়িত্ব টা পালন করতেছি যাতে আমরা সবাই যারা আগ্রহী তারা একসাথে সমানে এগিয়ে যেতে পারি কেউ যাতে কোন একটা বিষয়ে পিছে পড়ে না থাকেন।
আশা করি আমি সবাইকে club এর গুরুত্ব টা বুঝাইতে পারছি। আর মাত্র দুইটা মিটিং মাসে তাও আবার এক দেড় ঘণ্টার জন্য.
