Eid-ul-Adha was never meant to be only about sacrificing an animal. Mainly the bigger test for us today is sacrificing the hatred inside us; the desires that lead people towards hurting others; the silence that protects a wrongdoer; the wrath that harms innocent lives and the inhumanity we normalise every single day. In a country where a child feels unsafe, where pain, heart-breaking incidents and injustices keep making headlines then what truly are we sacrificing?

Allah looks at the purity of our intentions and whether we are truly capable of sacrificing the darkness within ourselves. Maybe this Eid, our Qurbani should also mean letting go of the mindset that excuses anarchy, the greed that blinds our soul and the silence that keeps injustice alive because faith automatically loses its value when humanity dies.

Let this Eid not only be a symbol of sacrificing on the outside but also purification of the inside. May this Eid bring us peace in our hearts and courage to stand against any form of tyranny. Eid Mubarak!

Huge congratulations to Tazrian Rahman, Head of Human Resources, along with his incredible teammates Fardin Ahmed, Adnan Asif, and Subruka Mahabub for securing the 1st Runners-up position at Capitalizer 2026, organized by BUP Finance Society.

Capitalizer is an annual Inter-University Investment Strategy Competition, that brought together some of the brightest minds, making this achievement even more remarkable.

From relentless late-night preparations to delivering under pressure, this milestone reflects not just hard work, but resilience, teamwork, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Samir and Wazid, both have successfully earned the opportunity to represent Minutei as Campus Ambassadors for the University of Dhaka. This marks an exciting step toward their future leadership and communication growth! This incredible feat also represents their dedication and enthusiasm to face new challenges while inspiring others around them. We are optimistic that they will surely achieve greater milestones ahead.

Spartans’ Communication Club is incredibly proud to share that Safia Tabassum Mahi, our Management Associate of Content Development, has been selected as a Campus Ambassador for the International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA).

Mahi's unwavering commitment and innovative approach to our content team have always been outstanding. It is her efforts, concentration, and drive to grow outside her comfort zone that have made it possible for her to gain access to this platform.

The whole SCC family celebrates this achievement with her. We have no doubt that she will bring our values to life wonderfully and do a great job in this new position.

Tea isn't just a drink in our desi lives, it's a full time therapist with no appointment fee. Every cup of tea starts with a conversation; it's like a bridge between family and friends, and the excuse we use to sit together, talk, heal and gossip about life one sip at a time.

If we actually listed what's inside a cup of cha, the ingredients would be very questionable because it is made of far more than milk and sugar.

It's roughly 40% gossip, because silence feels illegal with cha;

30% energy, because assignments won't do themselves magically no matter how much we stare at them;

20% escapism, because staring out the window dramatically while taking a sip is mandatory; and the remaining 10%? Pure emotion.

No matter how simple the cup looks, it somehow holds everything we feel but don't express until the tea gets poured.

On this International Tea Day, here's to every shared story, chaos that lives in one cup and the quiet therapy. Cheers to tea and the people who makes it meaningful.

That’s a wrap on Round 2! Huge shout out to every recruit for bringing their absolute best to the field.

The General Category applicants battled it out in intense Focused Group Discussions proving they have the voice, strategy, and presence to make their mark. Meanwhile, our Special Category applicants faced grueling wing-specific assessments, pushing their limits to show how well they can think under pressure.

You’ve all shown incredible grit but who has what it takes to advance further? Take a breath and rest up, recruits. The evaluations are underway, and the results will be announced soon. Until then, hold the line!
