নৈবেদ্য '১৪

আমরা নৈবেদ্য '১৪, বুয়েটের বর্তমান শিক্ষার্থীদের চলমান আন্দোলন এবং তাদের যৌক্তিক দাবিগুলোকে পূর্ণ সমর্থন দিচ্ছি।

লেজুড়বৃত্তিক ছাত্ররাজনীতি কখনোই ভাল দিন এনে দিতে পারে নি। বুয়েটে বিগত দুই দশকের ছাত্ররাজনীতির ইতিহাস তিনজন শিক্ষার্থীর হত্যাকাণ্ড আর অগণিত অরাজতকার ইতিহাস। আমরা এর পুনরাবৃত্তি চাইনা।

আমরা ব্যাচ হিসেবে লজ্জিত কারণ বুয়েটের অসুস্থ ছাত্ররাজনীতির বিকাশের সময়ে আমরা একে প্রতিহত করতে পারি নি, বুয়েটের নতুন ভোর আনতে পারি নি।

আমরা যা পারি নি তা করে দেখিয়েছে আমাদের স্নেহের অনুজরা তাদের দৃঢ়তা, একাগ্রতা ও সাহস দিয়ে। যে বুয়েট আমাদের কাছে একসময় কেবল স্বপ্নেই সম্ভব ছিলো সেটা তাদের হাত ধরেই বাস্তব হয়েছে। তাদের এত এত ত্যাগ ও কষ্ট যেন বৃথা না যায় সেটাই আমাদের সকলের কাম্য।

নৈবেদ্য '১৪ অনুজদের সাথে পুরোপুরি একমত এবং সবসময় পাশে থাকবে। প্রাণের বুয়েটে ছাত্ররাজনীতি চাই না।

The work was based on her final year undergraduate thesis titled 'An Anamnesis: Reconstruction of a War-torn Community' which clinched the title of 'Regional Winner' of Asia Region under the category of 'Architecture and Design' of Global Undergraduate Awards this year. P.S. this year only two Bangladeshis won this award and the other one is Masuda Khan aka "Masu Ake".

Rag Wall: 14

Name of the wall: কড়া

এমন কোন আলাদা প্ল্যান ছিল না যে ১৪ নম্বর টায়ই শেষ হবে। তবে ১৪ ব্যাচের ১৪ টা ওয়ালের শেষ ওয়াল "কড়া"। এই শব্দ হইতো বুয়েটে আর বলা হবে না। তবে এই শব্দটা এবং ওই ওয়াল্টা আমাদের জন্য আবেগের।

গুড বাই বুয়েট.Stay colorful. Wish you all goodbye.

Rag Wall: 13

Name of the wall: কড়া Rag wall.

The story behind the design from the artist himself:" The idea was to create something that tells a lot of the stories you create in this campus, if not all. In some cases the stories that you are not comfortable with, out in the public, but are just as valuable. We wanted to create something that every one could relate to and maybe smile a little."

Every small detail of this wall has a story printed in form of Rickshaw paint.

On the left most corner is a guy sipping tea. The most relatable evening feeling to every Buetian. Imagine the Cafeteria song as its background sitting on the half wall.

The Goal post is located at the Palasi and Bakshi Bazar entrance of our campus. A mockery done at an extend.

The guy on the bike playing a guitar. What can be more thug than this? Speaking of thus the Lady with guns on the skate board leaves jaw dropped. Both these characters are the representation of the "কড়া" vibe of both the s*x in our campus.

How can we leave out the limping Dog of Buet. Everybody knows this guy.

Don't miss the couple kissing under the hood of the rickshaw. How can anyone judge such a beauty.

Missed out on some thing? Tired? Not finished

The kids with jetpacks having their projects and models to be submitted after an all-nighter .

The cattle beside the overbridge depict the cattle that are taken every mid-night infront of BUET.

Finally any Buetian in the campus can find himself in this wall . Whether you are just sitting on the half wall, playing cards, playing your guitar or just laying down. Look closely, small figures in the back ground come to life with your soul in them.

Atlast the only thing it represents is very clear and written in bold letter:" কড়া রেগ বেচ"

This wall will see its last light on the 11th.Admire it until you can.

Name of the wall:THE RED WALL

The first wall of a batch reflects the mentality and significance of the batch. What brighter color than red to amplify the " কড়া" gesture.

Black on red is said to be the color of the devil.
