The motivation for establishing this club arose out a realization that modern corporate world is being changed in every moment. In order to cope up with the change we believe that along with a healthy CGPA it is also at least equally crucial to have good communication skill and up-to-date knowledge about the current business affairs, which in turn will help to secure a good job that means a good career, in fact. We also believe that each of the students of AIS department does have some inherent skills and potentials but due to unavailability of a common platform we cannot share those among us. In these circumstances, as per our belief, the presence of a club can have a significant role to mitigate or even eliminate all these problems. Lastly, we feel that developing stronger ties with corporate body is vital to strengthen our diversity and promote to the outsider. Upon understanding this fact, we have been motivated to take the initiative to establish a club. OBJECTIVES:
•To ensure a strong network & interaction among the members of club.
•To create an corporate environment in the club & formulate the behavior as well exposure keeping pace with the Corporate Code of Conduct (CCC) & practice thereof.
•To build a wide & sustainable network with business persons and entity.
•To network with organizations those have business interests in Bangladesh. This would enhance member’s understanding of business issues and help explore career opportunities
•To maintain an ongoing support network for members and alumni of A&IS, enabling them to network and share experiences with current as well as incoming members.
•To bridge the gap between the students & the teachers of the department through organizing different events or seminars.
•To represent our department to the corporate world with excellence & perfection.
•To be the pioneer in the area of creating quality business leaders. Scope of ACTIVITIES:
•Organizing Business Seminars with the presence of different successful Business People, Entrepreneurs, and Intellectuals.
•Organizing workshops/seminars on:
Solving;
Plan Writing;
Writing and Interview Tips
Presentation Designing & Techniques of Business Presentation;
of Computer Applications for Business Environment;
on any other area related with the Business activities.
•Arranging intra-university and inter-university Business Plan Competitions, Quiz Competitions, Case Solving Competitions, debate competition etc.
•Publishing Business Magazine half-yearly which will include the articles of both teachers’ and students’.
•Organizing round-table discussion in participation of the members on special business events taking place in both local and global arena.
•Organizing Field Trip/ Office Visit/ Study Tour/ Industrial Tour to gather practical knowledge about the business world, current issues, and different management practices.
• Arranging regular meeting to discuss about the activities and management of the club.
•Providing information to the students about regional Business Competitions. BENEFITS to General Members:

•It will be a good place to practice leadership skills & experience regarding how to organize & how to be organized. Members will come to know about the attributes of a successful business leader e.g. pro-activeness, professionalism, dedicated to work, appreciation of other’s performance.
•Members will be habituated with the Corporate Code of Conduct before stepping to there from this club.
•Since it will be a gathering of different levels of students (BBA 1st year to MBA), knowledge & experiences will flow among the students. Thus, the knowledge base of the members will be wider.
•Members will get entrepreneurship skill by participating in business plan competition.
•Members will develop the communication and presentation skill through different seminars conducted by business professionals and trainers.
•Members will know the mechanism of career planning through the career planning workshops.
•It will help members to be up to date about the changing financial condition and issues both local and international arenas by arranging financial quiz competitions.
•Members will have the opportunity to share their own thoughts by writing articles in the half-yearly Magazine of the club.
•Students will learn morality, ethics and patriotism through circle discussion
•It will raise awareness among the members that to be successful in the career only the good academic result is not enough, but extra-curricular activities are also necessary.
•The club will avail each member’s CV via website which will help the students to find jobs after completing their study.
•Members will be able to know the available scholarships applicable for them both locally and internationally.
•Through normal operation of the club & different workshops members will be able to improve their skill in English.
•New comers or junior members generally lack proper guidance about career planning. The club will avail a counseling board to help the members to formulate their career planning.
