𝐎𝐧 𝟏𝟒 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔( 1st Boishak, 1433), Bengalis will celebrate 𝐏𝐨𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐁𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐡, marking the beginning of the 𝟏𝟒𝟑𝟑 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐢 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫. This vibrant festival is deeply rooted in Bengali culture, symbolizing renewal, unity, and the spirit of new beginnings. People dress in traditional attire, participate in colorful processions like Mangal Shobhajatra, enjoy cultural performances, and share traditional foods such as panta bhat and ilish. The day encourages individuals to leave behind past hardships and embrace hope, prosperity, and positivity for the coming year.

From the perspective of 𝐑𝐔𝐄𝐓 𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐄, Pohela Boishakh holds special importance in fostering cultural awareness and unity among students. The celebration on campus brings together young minds through music, dance, art, and various cultural programs that reflect the richness of Bengali heritage. It provides a platform for students to express creativity while strengthening bonds of friendship and mutual respect.

On 21 February, 𝐑𝐔𝐄𝐓 𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐄 proudly honors the Language Movement and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our mother tongue. This historic movement laid the foundation of our national identity and later inspired global recognition through UNESCO declaring International Mother Language Day.

𝐑𝐔𝐄𝐓 𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐄 expresses deep respect by organizing discussions, cultural programs, and tribute ceremonies to remember the heroes of 1952. Through these activities, we uphold the spirit of Ekushey—promoting unity, patriotism, and respect for linguistic diversity. As students and future engineers, we remain committed to preserving our language, culture, and the values of sacrifice and courage in every aspect of our academic and social life.
