With profound sorrow, RUET CORE mourns the untimely passing of Rafid Shahriar (ID: 2103095), a 4th-year student of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, RUET.

After bravely fighting for his life following a tragic motorcycle accident, Rafid passed away today, 27 September 2026, leaving behind his family, friends, classmates, and the entire RUET community in deep grief.

His journey ended far too soon, but his memories will remain with us forever.
May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus and give strength and patience to his family and loved ones.

Some people change history not with power, but with courage. The sacrifices made during the July Uprising will always be remembered with respect. Their dreams, their bravery and the price they paid remind us that the freedom we enjoy today was never free.
The best way to honor them is not only by remembering their names, but by carrying their values in our everyday lives. Through honesty, unity and hard work, we can help build the Bangladesh they dreamed of; a nation where justice, dignity and hope belong to everyone.

On 21 February, ๐‘๐”๐„๐“ ๐‚๐Ž๐‘๐„ proudly honors the Language Movement and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our mother tongue. This historic movement laid the foundation of our national identity and later inspired global recognition through UNESCO declaring International Mother Language Day.

๐‘๐”๐„๐“ ๐‚๐Ž๐‘๐„ expresses deep respect by organizing discussions, cultural programs, and tribute ceremonies to remember the heroes of 1952. Through these activities, we uphold the spirit of Ekusheyโ€”promoting unity, patriotism, and respect for linguistic diversity.
