The University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh has selected only 65 researchers nationwide for this prestigious fellowship after a rigorous evaluation based on academic qualifications, research experience, publications, proposed research work, and supervisors’ recommendations. We are immensely proud that Varendra University stands among only five private universities whose faculty members have achieved this distinguished recognition.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Varendra University is proudly organizing the 2nd Undergraduate Conference on Intelligent Computing and Systems (UCICS 2026).

The conference will feature internationally renowned keynote speakers, including:
Prof. Keikichi Hirose (Japan), Prof. E. S. Otabe (Japan), Prof. Toshihisa Tanaka (Japan), Prof. Kosin Chamnonthai (Thailand), and Prof. M. Kaykobad (Bangladesh).
In addition, Prof. Mohammad Ali Moni (Australia) and Dr. Faisal Tariq (UK) are expected to attend physically; if not possible, they will join virtually. Prof. Kaushik Roy (USA) will also participate virtually.

In the Invited Talk Session, one of Bangladesh’s most successful entrepreneurs and CEO of the world-renowned IT company weDevs, Md. Nizam Uddin, will deliver a talk.
