বানেশ্বর সরকারী কলেজ

বানেশ্বর সরকারি কলেজ বাংলাদেশের রাজশাহী বিভাগের পুঠিয়া উপজেলার বানেশ্বর এলাকায় অবস্থিত একটি সরকারি কলেজ। এটি উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক (এইচ.এস.সি) এবং স্নাতক পর্যায়ের শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য মানসম্মত শিক্ষা প্রদান করে।

📜 ইতিহাস

কলেজটি ১৯৬৪ সালে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়।

প্রথমে এটি বানেশ্বর কলেজ নামে পরিচিত ছিল, পরে সরকারি কলেজ হিসেবে উন্নীত হয়।

২০১৮ সালে সরকারি করা হয়, ফলে শিক্ষার্থীরা সরকারি সুবিধা উপভোগ করতে পারে।

📍 অবস্থান ও পরিবেশ

কলেজটি রাজশাহী-ঢাকা মহাসড়কের পাশে অবস্থিত।

ক্যাম্পাসে শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় শিক্ষাকেন্দ্র ও সুযোগ-সুবিধা রয়েছে।

কলেজে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক থেকে স্নাতক পর্যায়ের শিক্ষা দেওয়া হয়।

Cruelty Versus Stupidity

Cruelty means uncontrolled and even abnormal passion like excessive anger, greed, jealousy, selfishness, narcissism which are absolutely negative. In order to gain some benefit, cruelty is usually adopted. Sometimes, passion for power or achievement becomes too uncontrollable to resist itself from some mischief or violent action.
Real love flourishes and may convert into an uncontrollable passion as well but unlike cruelty it is something usually adorable and diametrically opposite to cruelty in cases. On the other hand, foolishness means devoid of wisdom, full of stupidity showing no appropriate judgement. It fails to bring any benefit or achievement. It has no gain and is a sheer project of loss. It incurs every kind of loss for the person and for the others at times.
So the main factor of any cruelty is the target of gaining some profit as though the more profitable something is the stronger urge for cruelty may persist. But what about a motiveless villain? What makes him act in such a way? Is he so because he is a sadist? Or because he is utterly foolish like one who cuts the brunch sitting on its end? Even a murderer is exempted if found motiveless. So the direction, the motivation, the inspiration and so forth are very important regarding the action somebody has accomplished or attempted.
Now the point is what benefit it may bring to the person who showed such a cruelty in cutting the fingers or the wrist of his own wife. The story was published in different newspapers. Such a heinous act must not go unpunished, though it may be owing to his sheer madness, abnormality and foolishness rather than cruelty. He could have shown his cruelty where he had an opportunity to gain, rather than to lose. The other reason may be that he was overpowered by instant failure of controlling his anger or was a person of sheer madness, stupidity and more appropriately a person obsessed with ‘perversity’. But it is not acceptable either because he had been planning for long. It was not instant failure of temper for sure. The proper reason behind this motive is mysterious but it is never uncommon. There are ample examples of such kinds of unwanted happenings.
A young man collected money for buying a microbus by which he can earn money and his relative can get the job of driving. The relative was too poor and greedy to leave the money. He murdered the owner on the night before buying it. He planned the murder probably because he would get some monthly salary which is too meagre compared to the money for buying the vehicle. He did not realise he would become a fugitive murderer to be caught and hanged. In these circumstances he will lose every mental peace and happiness. And that is not all. He failed to understand that such a novice murderer could not deposit the money in the bank, neither could he keep with him since it would be stolen nor with any close person as it would not be returned most probably. He must have lost the money or could not use it for his own purpose and will remain an absconding murderer unless caught and hanged.
Inwardly, a pioneer in cruelty can perform such heinous actions. It is definitely true but it is also thought-provoking what motivates or instigates him to act such cruelly and nonsensically. A person who is wise and at the same time cruel is not likely to do this unless he goes mad with greed or is overpowered by the instant and indomitable anger.
To reduce these kinds of incidents people should be taught to calculate what is the use of all these, what they can gain, what they may lose, how they can succeed in bringing peace in their life if not shortly, in the long run at least.
In another story in a daily newspaper we read that the son was provoked and angered by his mother when he was working with a bamboo. As he was holding a lethal weapon, he lost his control and hit his mother’s head with the weapon so hard that she died instantly. Here we see he was overpowered by instant failure of controlling his anger. He must have been repentant for the act of matricide most unexpectedly but it was of no use. He lost his mother, so did his charms of life—a life of fugitive and that of a murderer.
A heart-rending accident occurred at Mirpur. They were late for school and were crossing the road in front of the bus they just got off. The woman holding the hands of the two girls was hit by a motorcycle. Incidentally one of the girls dropped under the wheel of the same bus. While escaping, the driver looked back and saw the girl was still under the wheel of his bus. He came back, started the bus and moved it a little further, tried to escape and was caught by the public. Here are a lot of intricacies how the driver can go unpunished and how he can be punished because such a situation is too tricky and abrupt to hold the driver responsible undoubtedly. Here we find no ill-intension of the driver. It is utterly an accident of an accident totally unexpected.
