American Corner Rajshahi hosted a debate competition to commemorate America's 250th anniversary year, bringing together eight teams from four departments at Varendra University. Participants debated which key American innovations have had the biggest impact on history -- including the Internet's development through ARPANET, NASA’s role in space exploration, personal computing and software breakthroughs by Apple Inc. and Microsoft, and pioneering research by Harvard University and MIT. After over 48 hours of competition, Team Texas won the championship by demonstrating exceptional analytical skills, depth of research, and persuasive presentation skills. Congratulations Team Texas!
