Industrial Tour to Bheramara Combined Cycle Power Plant

On May 22, 2025, the students of the ETE 21 Series (Third Year, Odd Semester) undertook an industrial visit to the 410 MW Bheramara Combined Cycle Power Plant in Kushtia. Organized as part of the EEE 3153: Power System course, conducted by A. S. M. Badrudduza Kanon, Assistant Professor, Department of ETE, this visit provided the students with valuable exposure to the practical aspects of power generation and enhanced their understanding of theoretical concepts through real-world applications.

This enriching experience was made possible through the thoughtful initiative and continued support of our respected Head of the Department, Dr. Mst. Fateha Samad, Professor, Department of ETE. Her leadership and commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry have played a pivotal role in facilitating such opportunities for our students.

The visit was further enriched by the guidance and active participation of esteemed faculty members, including A. S. M. Badrudduza Kanon, Assistant Professor; Md. Abu Ismail Siddique, Assistant Professor; Mohammed Nazmul Islam Nahin, Lecturer; Rifa Tabassum Mim, Lecturer; and Rubaeat Ahammed, Lecturer. Their insights and mentorship significantly contributed to the overall learning outcomes of the tour.
