The Bangladesh Journal of Public Administration (BJPA) is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by the Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC). The BPATC trains the country's civil servants and researches governance issues. Authors can visit the journal's website at http://bjpa.bpatc.gov.bd or access the journal from BPATC’s website at http://bpatc.gov.bd/.
The BPATC has been publishing the print version of the BJPA since 1987 (ISSN 1563-5023) and the online version since 2017 (ISSN 2664-4622). The journal publishes every article with a unique DOI. Crossref, Google Scholar Citation, PKP Open Archives Harvester have indexed the journal. It is in the process of getting registered with DOAJ and SCOPUS.
Articles can be submitted any time of the year through the journal’s website. Accepted articles are instantly published online as an ‘online first’ category once accepted for publication.
Aim and Scope
The BJPA publishes manuscripts concerned with the social sciences. The BJPA emphasizes best practices and tools related to planning, development, gender, public administration, public policy, management, training, and leadership. The journal encourages submitting manuscripts on local, regional and global challenges, mega-projects, negotiation, the fourth industrial revolution, future megatrends, information technology, climate change, blue economy, and contemporary issues. The journal closely works to bridge the interests of practitioners and academics. It accepts applied research-based papers, case studies, project post-mortems, practical strategies, impact analyses, and new possibilities (problem-solving, opportunity-taking, and the like) for publication.
Submission of Manuscripts
Authors need to submit manuscripts through the SUBMIT PAPER button of the journal's website following the AUTHOR GUIDELINES available there. Authors can avail of the 'support contact' option from the CONTACT menu in case of problems with the online submission.
