BIG NEWS: MAY 6 - 7 INTERCOMMUNITY FAREWELL SHABBOS AT GCASL + BC

Dear students, alumni, and downtown community members,

On Friday, May 6th and Saturday, May 7th we will celebrate Shabbos as one united community for the first time in two years! Friday night programming will resume at NYU GCASL for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic began – a truly unique and exciting opportunity. On Shabbos day, programming will be held at The Bronfman Center.

Most importantly, our farewell Shabbos will be an opportunity for us to join together as a community and celebrate the monumental contributions that Rabbi Joe Wolfson and Corinne Shmuel have made downtown. Please join us in expressing our boundless gratitude and wishing them all the best in their next chapter.

SHALHEVET'S JEWISH WOMEN IN STEM EVENT 👩‍🔬🧬🔬

Calling all Jewish women in STEM and their supporters! We're going to be holding a panel where Jewish women in science (including social science), technology, engineering and math will be sharing about their experiences in STEM-related fields at multiple stages of their careers, including undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate! This event will be an opportunity for mentorship, networking and support.
