On Dated - 2nd August, 2026 our school participated in the District Level Folk Dance Competition elementary level ( V-VIII) held at PM Shri Mangan Senior Secondary School , Audiotorium Hall, Mangan District Sikkim organised by Tendong Lho Rum Faat Celebration Committee, 2026.
We are happy that our school students participated in the above event.

We had planned this for a very long time to paint the classroom wall of Class VIII . On Saturday -18th July the work was done . We bought a little change to our classroom . โจ๐ซ

On Dated 10/07/2026 Our students from Govt. Secondary school,Ringhim-Mangan North Sikkim had participated in Green Marathon Leave a Green Legacy ( 10km run) Boys/ Girls organised by Mangan Territorial Division ( Forest & Environment Department) , Govt of Sikkim .
We are proud to announce that our school students Ledia Sherpa stood 2nd and Rachana Limboo 3rd in the Marathon . ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐

On dated - 15/07/2026 Health Camp was organised in our school by Bhavishya Bharat ( reaching the unreached) . Health on Wheels by Glenmark Foundation .
The team also led an awareness session on communicable diseases cm blood grouping camp .
On , behalf of our school fraternity we would like to thank the Health team for organising such wonderful camp wherein our students and the staffs benefited and we also hope in future such camps should be organised very often .

On dated - 7/07/2026 Government Secondary School, Ringhim organized a Green Pledge Ceremony on 7 July 2026 as part of its ongoing environmental awareness campaign. The activity aimed to instill a sense of ecological responsibility among students and staff, encouraging them to adopt sustainable habits in their daily lives.
The Assembly & Discourse: The event commenced with a brief address by the school I charge, highlighting the pressing issues of climate change, deforestation, and plastic pollution.
The Pledge Taking: Led by the student council, the entire school gathered to recite the Green Pledge. Participants solemnly resolved to minimize single-use plastics, conserve water and electricity, plant more trees, and keep their surroundings clean.
Actionable Commitments: Following the pledge, students participated in a campus clean-up drive and a symbolic sapling plantation session, turning their verbal commitment into immediate action.
Through this initiative, Government Secondary School, Ringhim has reinforced its commitment to nurturing environmentally conscious citizens who are ready to protect and preserve the planet.

On dated 20.06.2026, Day 2 of Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp (BBSC) 2026 focused on a Virtual City Tour and Real-Life Conversation Practice. Students actively participated in the activities, enhancing their communication and language skills through interactive learning experiences.
