Alliteration: Repetition of the same initial sound in nearby words.
(কাছাকাছি শব্দের শুরুতে একই ধ্বনির পুনরাবৃত্তিকে অনুপ্রাস (Alliteration) বলে। )
She sells sea shells on the sea shore.
➤ ‘S’ sound repeated.
Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
➤ ‘P’ sound repeated.
Busy bees buzz by the bush.
➤ ‘B’ sounds repeated.
Wild winds whistle in winter.
➤ ‘W’ sound repeated.
2. বাংলা উদাহরণ (অনুপ্রাস)
বনে বনে বাঘ বসে।
➤ ‘ব’ ধ্বনির পুনরাবৃত্তি।
মিষ্টি মধুর মায়াবী মুখ।
➤ ‘ম’ ধ্বনির পুনরাবৃত্তি।
ঝরঝর ঝরে ঝর্ণার জল।
