Dr Mirza Abdul Jalil has been nominated for “Ekushey Padak 2021” for his outstanding contribution in Economics, The government made the announcement in an official release of the Cultural Affairs Ministry on Thursday (04/02/2021).
The ‘Ekushey Padak’ is the second highest civilian award in Bangladesh, introduced in memory of the martyrs of the Bengali Language Movement of 1952.

আজ সকাল ৫:৩০ মিনিটে মরহূম মির্জা আব্দুল আনছার-এর বড় ছেলে, বি.জে.এম.সি ফুটবল দলের সাবেক অধিনায়ক এবং হাজী ব্রাদার্স ক্লাব ও খুলনা বিভাগীয় প্রাক্তন ফুটবলার জনাব মির্জা আব্দুল বাতেন ইন্তেকাল করেন (ইন্না-ইল্লাহি-ওয়া.....-রাজিউন)। আজ সকাল ৯ঃ৩০ ঘটিকার সময় ঢাকার উত্তরাস্থ ১১নং সেক্টর জামে মসজিদে প্রথম নামাজে-জানাজা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। দ্বীতিয় নামাজে-জানাজা মরহূমের পৈত্রিক বাসভবন মির্জাবাড়ি, জয়নগর, বেড়া, পাবনা'য় ( Mirzabari, Joynagor, Bera, Pabna ) আনুমানিক বিকাল ৫ঃ৩০ ঘটিকায় অনুষ্ঠিত হবে ।

মরহূমের আত্নার রুহের মাগফিরাত কামনা করি। মহান রাব্বুল আলামিন উনাকে জান্নাতুল ফেরদাউস দান করুন - আমিন ।

উল্লেখ থাকে যে, মরহূম মির্জা আব্দুল বাতেন কান্সারে আক্রান্ত হয়ে Lubana General Hospital Pvt. Ltd. & Uttara Cardiac Center'এর ICU তে ভর্তি ছিলেন । চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় গতরাত আনুমানিক ৮ ঘটিকার দিকে অবস্থার অবনতি ঘটলে তাকে Life Support এ নেওয়া হয়। মূত্যুকালে তিনি জয়নগর ঈদগাহ, কবরস্থান, জামে মসজিদের কার্যকরী পর্ষদের সভাপতি ছিলেন । জীবদ্দশায় তিনি Adarsha High School, Kaitola ও কৈটলা সরকারী প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ের কার্যকরী পর্ষদের সদস্য ছিলেন। মূত্যুকালে তিনি স্ত্রী, ২ পুত্র, ২ কন্যা ও নাতি-পুতি এবং অসংখ্য শুভাকাঙ্খী রেখে গেছেন।

The Ceremony chaired & honored by Mr. Islam Uddin, Ex Headmaster of Kaitola Adarsha High School and the ceremony followed by Sharon Shava, Doa o Milad Mahfil.
