অনেকেই হয়তো জানেন না—বাংলাদেশের বর্তমান স্পিকার হাফিজউদ্দিন আহমেদ একসময় আন্তর্জাতিক ফুটবলে দেশের গর্ব ছিলেন।
বীর বিক্রম খেতাবপ্রাপ্ত এই মেজর (অব.) FIFA কর্তৃক বিংশ শতাব্দীর সেরা বাংলাদেশি ফুটবলার হিসেবে স্বীকৃতি পেয়েছিলেন।
তিনি তৎকালীন পাকিস্তান জাতীয় ফুটবল দলের অধিনায়ক ছিলেন। পরে বাংলাদেশের স্বাধীনতার পর দেশের ফুটবল উন্নয়নে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখেন।
তার দীর্ঘ অবদান ও নেতৃত্বের স্বীকৃতিস্বরূপই তিনি এই সম্মানজনক স্বীকৃতি অর্জন করেন। ⚽🇧🇩

আজ আন্তর্জাতিক নারী দিবসে TECN Alumni Association গভীর শ্রদ্ধা ও সম্মান জানায় সেই সকল নারীকে, যাঁদের শ্রম, দক্ষতা ও নিষ্ঠা বাংলাদেশের অর্থনীতিকে এগিয়ে নিচ্ছে।

বাংলাদেশের তৈরি পোশাক (RMG) শিল্প দেশের রপ্তানি আয়ের প্রায় ৮০% অবদান রাখে। আর এই বিশাল শিল্পখাতের মূল শক্তি হচ্ছেন লক্ষ লক্ষ নারী কর্মী, যারা প্রতিদিন তাদের পরিশ্রম ও মেধা দিয়ে এই শিল্পকে সচল রাখছেন। তাদের অবদান শুধু অর্থনীতিতেই নয়, বরং অসংখ্য পরিবারের স্বাবলম্বিতা ও দেশের সামাজিক অগ্রগতির সাথেও গভীরভাবে জড়িত।

টেক্সটাইল ও গার্মেন্টস সেক্টরে আজ নারী শুধু শ্রমিক হিসেবেই নয়— প্রকৌশলী, ম্যানেজার, উদ্যোক্তা ও নেতৃত্বের ভূমিকায়ও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অবদান রাখছেন।

TECN Alumni Association বিশ্বাস করে, নারীর ক্ষমতায়নই শিল্পখাতের টেকসই উন্নয়নের অন্যতম ভিত্তি।

আজকের এই দিনে আমরা সকল নারী পেশাজীবী, শিক্ষার্থী ও শ্রমজীবী নারীদের প্রতি জানাই আন্তরিক শ্রদ্ধা ও শুভেচ্ছা।

বাংলাদেশের ঐতিহ্য, অর্থনীতি ও পরিবেশবান্ধব ভবিষ্যতের সাথে অঙ্গাঙ্গিভাবে জড়িত পাটশিল্প। এক সময় “সোনালী আঁশ” হিসেবে পরিচিত এই পাট আমাদের দেশের গৌরবময় ইতিহাস বহন করে এবং টেকসই শিল্প উন্নয়নে এখনো গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখছে।
