Dept. of EEE, BAUET, extends its sincere congratulations to Md. Mehedi Hasan, Lecturer, Dept. of EEE, BAUET, and his student research team for their paper titled “A Proposed Tuning Algorithm for Closed-Loop VFDs to Reduce Input Current THD Using LC Filtering”, presented at QPAIN 2026.

The paper was authored by Md. Mehedi Hasan along with his students: Fardin Ahmed (EEE 14th Batch), Md. Asif Hasan (EEE 17th Batch), and Md. Shahadat Shahriar Shaon (EEE 17th Batch). The research work was successfully presented by Md. Asif Hasan on behalf of the team.

This accomplishment reflects the department’s strong emphasis on collaborative research and active student engagement in advanced engineering studies. The EEE Department warmly congratulates all the authors for this notable achievement. Special appreciation is extended to Md. 🎉 Dept. of EEE, BAUET, extends its heartfelt congratulations to Md. Nazmul Islam, Lecturer, Dept. of EEE, BAUET, for successfully presenting his research paper titled “Highly Sensitive Al/Si₃N₄/BiFeO₃-Integrated Prism Based SPR Biosensor for Cancer Detection” at QPAIN 2026.

QPAIN 2026 is a prestigious international conference dedicated to fostering innovation in Quantum Photonics, Artificial Intelligence, and Networking. The conference was held in Chattogram, Bangladesh, on 16–18 April 2026, organized by the IEEE Photonics Society Bangladesh Chapter. All accepted papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore and indexed by Scopus.

This achievement reflects his continued commitment to excellence in research, innovation, and global academic engagement. Such accomplishments not only enhance the research profile of the department but also inspire and motivate students to actively pursue research and scholarly activities.
