Civil Engineering Department - BAUET

A workshop on “Implementation and Assessment of K-Profile, CEP and CEA for BAETE Accreditation” was organized by IQAC in association with the Department of CE, BAUET.

Professor Brig Gen Shah Md Muniruzzaman (Retd), psc, PhD and Professor GM Jahid Hasan, PhD attended the program as resource persons and shared their valuable insights and experiences regarding accreditation processes and outcome-based education practices.

The session was attended by the honorable Vice Chancellor of BAUET, Brig Gen S M Lutfor Rahman, Registrar, Deans, Heads of Departments, and faculty members. The workshop was highly interactive and fruitful, enabling the participants to gain a clearer understanding of the implementation and assessment of K-Profile, CEP, and CEA for BAETE accreditation.

The Faculty of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology successfully conducted its 2nd Faculty Quality Assurance Cell (FQAC) Meeting on 29 April 2026.
The meeting focused on key academic quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives, including the CQI process, CLO–PLO–PEO attainment, revision of course structures, and approval of the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) for BAETE accreditation.
In addition, detailed discussions were held on semester results, attainment analysis, and valuable feedback from employers, alumni, and graduating students (exit survey), helping to guide future academic and program development.

A significant meeting was held today (22.04.2026) in the Faculty Room of the Department of Civil Engineering, BAUET, chaired by the Honorable Vice Chancellor Brig Gen S M Lutfor Rahman in his capacity as the Dean of the Faculty of Civil & Environmental Engineering. The session was attended by faculty members and focused on reviewing the progress and strategic direction of accreditation preparation for the B.Sc. in Civil Engineering program, reaffirming the department’s commitment to meeting BAETE standards and achieving academic excellence.
