চলমান ৬ দফা আন্দোলনে সরকারের আশ্বাস ও ইতিবাচক পদক্ষেপের প্রেক্ষিতে আন্দোলন সাময়িকভাবে স্থগিতের ঘোষণা দিয়েছে আইডিইবি।
শিক্ষা সচিবের সাথে আলোচনায় উচ্চ পর্যায়ের আন্তঃমন্ত্রণালয় কমিটি গঠনের সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়, যেখানে ছাত্র প্রতিনিধি অন্তর্ভুক্ত থাকবেন।
ঢাকা পলিটেকনিক ইনস্টিটিউটের ননটেক অধ্যক্ষকে ইতোমধ্যে বদলি করা হয়েছে।
কমিটির সুপারিশ অনুযায়ী শিক্ষার্থীদের দাবিগুলো বাস্তবায়নের আশ্বাস দিয়েছেন সচিব।
আগামী ২৭ এপ্রিল বিষয়টি প্রধান উপদেষ্টার নজরে আনা হবে বলেও জানানো হয়।
