English clubs come in many different shapes. Our club gives students/people a chance to practice English in a relaxed, ambience mood. Why English Club?

Use what you learn:-

An English Club is a place for language learners to use English in a casual setting. Practicing your skills in the classroom is important, but it is not like real life. In the classroom, you often focus on one skill and one item (for example: grammar - future tense). After learning the rules your instructor gives you time to practice using the item. You have your papers in front of you and the rules are fresh in your mind. Will you remember how to use your skills next week, or next year? In an English Club, you get a chance to practice many different skills in a setting that is more like real life. Though your instructor understands your English, your English Club friends will require you to speak more clearly and listen more carefully. Make English-speaking friends:-

An English Club is a great way to make new lasting friendships. It is important to have good ES friends because your confidence will increase if you do. You will feel more comfortable using English around people you trust and have fun with. Don't limit your friends to the people in your class.

yes, I have initiated this program because I don't want to teach the regular topic rather I intend to make my students more competitive for the future market.Consequently I have arranged a debate on the topic" Capitalism brings more advantages than socialism does". This type of program should be arranged by our school, colleges, or University in a large scale.But unfortunately, they are not intended enough rather they keep their focus on making money by fair or unfair means. So, as a teacher or mentor I think myself to come forward to. I thus should not be indifferent where responsible are irresponsible with due respect. I would like to give thanks to my students who have worked hard and I extensively expect that this initiative will certainly help you to improve yourselves as well as to represent yourselves to respond in a positive way to the highly competitive market extending your presentation skills😊😊😊😊 Finally special thanks to honourable guests to make our program fulfilled.

আমাদের ভিতর একটি common ধারণা আছে যে কোনো শব্দের শেষে "ly" থাকলেই তা adverb হবে, এই ধারণা সম্পূর্ন ভূল। এক্ষেত্রে আমরা এই গঠন গুলু মনে রাখতে পারি।
Noun + ly = Adjective
Adjective + ly= Adverb
ly যুক্ত কিছু adjective হচ্ছে Motherly, Friendly, Homely, unlikely, etc.

Simple Sentence: যে sentence এ একটি মাত্র subject এবং একটি মাত্র finite verb থাকে, তাকে simple sentence বলে। যেমনঃ I saw him running, She heard me singing, I want to watch that movie.
Complex sentence: যে sentence এ একটি principal Clause এক বা একাধিক subordinate Clause থাকে তাকে Complex Sentence বলে। যেমনঃ I know what he says (noun pharse),
As I was ill, I could not go to school.
Though he is poor, He is honest.
We eat eat so that we can live.
We could not go to school because the weather was bad.
Compound sentence:যে sentence এ একাধিক Principal বা Dependent clause coordinating conjunction দ্বারা যুক্ত থাকে তাকে,Compound Sentence বলে।যেমনঃ He is poor but honest. Study hard otherwise you will fail. Not only karim but also Mehedi joined the party. Sakira had no money nevertheless she wanted to buy the shirt.
Some other examples:
She met me and discussed the matter ( Double sentence)
You must do it or you will be in danger( Double sentence)
He came to our house , took some rest and went away.(Multiple sentence)
I thought, thought and thought (Contracted sentence)
He danced and sang fine song (Contracted sentence)
Neither he nor his sister has passed
Kamal as well as jamal will go
From Simple to Complex
Simple: I know his address (আমি তার ঠিকানা জানি)
Complex: I know what his address is.( আমি জানি তার ঠিকানা কি)
Simple: I saw his pen
Complex: I saw the pen which was his.
Simple: Tell me the address of the man
Complex: Tell me what the address of the man is.
Simple: Show me the picture
Complex: Show me what the picture is
Simple: He asked me of my name.
Complex: He asked me what my name was.
Simple: Speak the truth.
Complex: Speak what the truth is.
কোন জায়গা বা স্থান বোঝালে where বসে সময় বোঝালে when বসে।
Simple: I know his birth place
Complex: I know where he was born
Simple: I know his birthday
Complex: I know when he was born.
Simple: This is my birth place
Complex: This is the place where I was born
or,
This is where I was born.
Simple: I can’t tell the time of his coming.
Complex: I can’t tell the time when he will come
Simple sentence এ যদি NP +be+ too + adjective+ to +v1 তাহলে Complex sentence এ এর structure দাড়াবে NP+ be+ so + adjective+ that + NP2+ can’t+ v1
too...to সব সময় negative sentence এ বসে।
যেমন, he was so talented that he could pass the exam
এই sentence টা simple করলে meaning change হয়ে যাবে।
যেমন, he was too talented to pass the exam. ( সে এতটাই মেধাবি যে পাশ করতে পারে নি) তাই meaning যাতে change না হয় তাই লিখতে হবে

he was too talented to fail the exam ( সে এতটাই মেধাবি যে ফেল করেনি) একটু ঘুড়িয়ে লিখতে হবে।
Simple: He is too weak to walk.োণয়(সে খুব দুর্বল হাটার জন্য)
Complex: He is so weak that he can’t walk. (সে এতটাই দুর্বল যে হাটতে পারে না)
Simple: He is too foolish (বোকা) to understand it.
Complex: He is so foolish that he can’t understand it.
Simple: I am too tall to enter the room.
Complex: I am so tall that I can’t enter the room.
Simple: The man is too dishonest to speak the truth.
Complex: The man is so dishonest that he can’t speak the truth.
Simple: The puzzle is too difficult for me to solve it.
Complex: The puzzle is so difficult that I can’t solve it.
Simple: The box was too heavy for me to carry.
Complex: The box was so heavy that I could not carry.
Simple: Going to Nilkhet, he bought a book.
Complex: When he went to market, he bought a book
Simple: Completing the work, he felt satisfied.
Complex: When he completed the work, he felt satisfied
Simple: Singing a song, he wanted some money.
Complex: When he sang a song, he wanted some money.
Simple: Having taken a cup of tea, he went away. (চা খাওয়ার পর তারা চলে গেল)

Simple sentence এ যদি to+v1 দ্বারা শুরু হয়ে যদি উদেশ্য বোঝায় তাহলে complex sentence এ NP+ verb+ in order that+ NP2+may/might+v1
Simple: We eat to live (আমরা বাঁচার জন্য খাই)
Complex: We eat in order that we may live (আমরা খাই যাতে আমরা বাঁচতে পারি)
Simple: We lived in houses to be comfortable
Complex: We lived in houses in order that we might be comfortable
Simple sentence এ In order to থাকলে complex sentence এ so that + may বা might / can/could ব্যবহার করা হয়।
Simple: He studied hard in order to pass the exam in the first division. (আমরা অনেক পড়াশুনা করেছিলাম ফার্স্ট ডিভিশনে পাশ করার জন্য।)
Complex: He studied hard so that he could /might pass the exam in the first exam (আমরা অনেক পড়াশুনা করেছিলাম যাতে ফার্স্ট ডিভিশনে পাশ করতে পারি।)
Simple: We earn money in order to lead a happy life
Complex: we earn money so that we may lead a happy life
Simple: She practices singing in order to be a good singer
Complex: She practices singing so that she may be a good singer.
Simple: I worked hard in order to recover my debt. (আমি অনেক পরিশ্রম করেছিলাম আমার ঋণ পরিশোধ করার জন্য)

Complex: I worked hard so that I could recover my debt. (আমি অনেক পরিশ্রম করেছিলাম যাতে আমি আমার ঋণ পরিশোধ করতে পারি)
Simple: I went there in order to meet him
Complex: I went there so that I could I might/could meet him.
Simple: We studied hard for the purpose of passing in the first division
Complex: We studied hard so that we could pass in the first division.
Simple sentence এ in spite of থাকলে complex sentence এ though বা although বসে।
Simple: In spite of his poverty, he is happy (িদারিদ্রতা থাকা স্বত্বেও সে সুখী)
Or
In spite of his being poor, he is happy
Complex: Though he is poor, he is happy. (যদিও সে গরিব, সে সুখী)
Simple: In spite of the bad weather, we went there
Or,
In spite of the weather being bad, we went there.
Complex: Though the weather was bad , we went there.
Simple: In spite of his cruelty, I love him
Complex: Though he is cruel, I love him.
Complex to simple
Complex sentence যদি if + Np+ auxiliary verb+ Verb+ object থাকে,তাহলে simple sentence এ by + v1 + ing দ্বারা করতে হয়।
Complex: If you work hard, you will succeed in your life.
Simple: By working hard, You will succeed in your life.
Complex: If you earn money, you will live better.
Simple: By earning money, you will live better.
যদি If+ Np+ auxiliary verb+ not+ verb + object থাকে তাহলে simple sentence এ without + v1 + ing বসে।

Complতাহলেex: If you don’t study hard, you will not pass the exam
Simple: Without study hard, You will not pass the exam.
Complex: If you don’t earn money, you will live better
Simple: Without earning money, you will not live better.
Simple to complex
Simple: By drinking milk, you can get vitamins
Complex: If you drink milk, you can get vitamins
Simple: Without working hard, you can’t get success
Complex: If you don’t work hard, you can’t get success.
Some other exceptional examples:
Complex: If you succeed, I shall be happy. (তুমি যদি সফল হও,তাহলে আমি সুখী হব)
Simple: Your success makes me happyোড়বে(তোমার সফলতা আমাকে সুখী করবে)
Complex: If you arrive here in time, I shall be glad (তুমি যদি সময়মত এখানে পৌছাও, তাহলে আমি আনন্দিত হব)
Simple: Your arrival here in time মাকেস makes me glad. (এখানে তোমার সঠিক সময়ের উপস্থিতি আমাকে আনন্দিত করবে)
Simple: I am glad to hear of your passing the exam
Complex: I am glad to hear that you have passed the exam.
Simple: I am sure of his success
Complex: I am sure that you will succeed
Simple: I am not sure of his failure

যদি simple sentence without + v1+ing দ্বারা শুরু হয় তাহলে compound sentence নিম্নোক্ত ভাবে হবে।
Simple: Without reading hard, you can’t pass
Compound: Read hard or (otherwise) you can’t pass
Simple: Without loving others, you can’t be loved by them
Compound: Love others otherwise (or) you can’t be loved by other

If দ্বারা যদি কোন Complex sentence শুরু হয় তাহলে তার নিম্নোক্ত ভাবে compound sentence করতে হয়।
Complex: If you study hard you will succeed.
Compound: Study and you will succeed.
Complex: If you eta a balanced diet, you will remain healthy
Compound: Eat a balanced diet and you will remain healthy
Complex: If you do not earn money, you will not be able to live better
Compound: Earn money or ( otherwise) you will not be able to live better

As /since যুক্ত complex sentence গুলু কে নিম্নোক্ত উপায়ে compound করতে হয়।
Complex: As we climbed up the hill, we saw many interesting things
Compound: We climbed up the tree and saw many interesting things.
Complex: We could not go out for a walk as the weather was bad.
Compound: The weather was bad and we could not go out for a walk.
Complex: As she was angry with me, she did not talk with me for two days

The Old English period (450-1066)
এ যুগের অন্য নাম Anglo Saxon period। saxon দের ভাষা ছিল জার্মান। ( এ সময় England saxon দের অধীনে ছিল।)

The Middle English period (1066-1500)
1066-1340: The anglo Norman period (ভাষা french). এ সময় England, norman দের অধীনে ছিল।
1340-1400 : The age of chaucher (chaucer এর মাধ্যমে english literature এর যাত্রা শুরু)
1400-1485/1500: The Dark/ Barren period: অন্ধকার যুগ (যেমন বাংলা সাহিত্যের অন্ধকার যুগ ( ১২০১-১৩৫০)

King james (1st) এর নামানুসারে এ যুগের নামকরণ

হ্যলো বন্ধুরা, সবাই কেমন আছেন? নিশ্চয়ই অনেক ভাল? নতুন কিছু নিয়ে আসতে একটু দেরি
হয়ে গেল। যাই হোক,চলুন কিছু বাক্য বুঝার চেষ্টা করি। I saw the bird flying or I saw the bird to fly এই দুটি বাক্যের অর্থ একই যেমনঃ (আমি পাখিটি কে উড়তে দেখেছিলাম।)। তাহলে এই বাক্যে দেখা গেল আমি বাক্য টি কে infinitive ই করি আর present participle or gerund ই করি অর্থ কিন্ত একই দাঁড়ায়। এখন প্রশ্ন হচ্ছে সব বাক্যই কি infinitive আর present participle করলেকরলে একই অর্থ প্রকাশ করে? চলুন দেখা যাক, I stopped purchasing potatoes (আমি আলু কেনা বন্ধ করে দিয়েছিলাম) আর যদি বাক্য টি এমন ভাবে লিখা হত I stopped to purchase potatoes ( আমি আলু কিনতেই থেমেছিলাম)। এইখানে কিন্ত infinitive আর gerund same অর্থ প্রকাশ করল না। বরং একেবারেই উল্টো অর্থ প্রকাশ করল। তাহলে ঘটনা টা যেখানে দাড়ালো যে সব verb এর present participle বা v1+ing same meaning দেয় না। এছাড়াও কিছু verb আছে যাদের পরে শুধু মাত্র (v1+ing) করতে হয় আবার কিছু verb এর পর শুধু মাত্র infinitive করতে হয় আবার কিছু verb এর পর infinitive বা gerund or v1+ ing দুটুই করা যায় তবে সেখানে অর্থের তারতম্য থাকতে পারে। The following table will help you to understand this issue properly
Infinitive:Decide, desire, expect
I decided to go there.
He desires to go abroad.

Gerund: Mind, advise, finish
I have finished reading newspaper
He advised taking exercise regularly

Both: Continue, Begin , Fear
He continued reading newspaper or He continued to read newspaper
He began crying or he began to cry

Math : 1হ্যালো বন্ধুরা সবাই কেমন আছেন?? আশাকরি অনেক ভাল। সবার ঈদ নিশ্চয়ই অনেক ভাল কেটেছে। চলেন এইবার একটু পরাশোনায় মনোযোগ দেই। ঈদের আগে বোলেছিলাম ম্যাথ নিয়ে লিখব। আজ একটূ সেই চেষ্টাই করব। যতটুকু আমি লক্ষ্য করেছি, তাতে যেকোনো প্রতিযোগিতাোমূলক পরীক্ষা যেমনঃ MBA, হীটBank, BCS ইত্যাদিতে যে প্রশ্ন গুলু আসে তাতে ৩ টা LAYER কল্পনা করা যেতে পারে। চলুন আজ গড় গতিবেগ নিয়ে কথা বলি।
প্রশ্নঃ ধরাযাক, ঢাকা থেকে কুমিল্লার দূরত্ব ১২০ কিলোমিটার। যেখানে একটি বাস ঢাকা থেকে কুমিল্লা গেল গড়ে ৩০ কিলমিটার বেগে এবং কুমিল্লা থেকে ফিরে এল ৪০ কিলোমিটার বেগে। প্রশ্ন হচ্ছে সর্বমোট আসা যাওয়ায় বাস টির গড় গতিবেগ কত ছিল?
Layer: 1: মনে আপনাকে প্রশ্ন টা বোঝতে হবে। মনে হচ্ছে অংকটা অনেক সহজ? (৩০+৪০) /২ দিলেই তো ৩৫ কি .মি. হবে উত্তর। যদি এইরকম ভেবে থাকেন তাহলে আপনি একেবারেই ভূল stage এ আছেন এইখেত্রে আপনি প্রথম stage ই প্রতিযোগিতা থেকে ছিটকে যাবেন।
Layer 2: আপনি আপনার জানা সূত্রের আলোকে এটা সমাধান করতে চাইবেন। যেমনঃ
গড় গতিবেগ= সর্বমোট দূরত্ব / সর্বমোট সময়
এখন, সর্বমোট দূরত্ব= (১২০ (যেতে) + ১২০ (আসতে) ) =২৪০
সর্বমোট সময় = (যাওয়ার সময় +আসার সময় )
যাওয়ার সময়ঃ ৩০ কিলোমিটার যায় ১ ঘণ্টায়
১ কিলোমিটার যায় (১/৩০) ঘণ্টায়
১২০ কিলোমিটার যায় (১২০/৩০) ঘণ্টায়
অতএব, সর্বমোট যাওয়ার সময় ৪ ঘণ্টা
অনুরুপ, কুমিল্লা থেকে ঢাকা আসতে সময় লাগবে ৩ ঘণ্টা
অতএব, গড় গতিবেগ = (২৪০/৭)= ৩৪. ২৮৫ কি.মি./ঘণ্টা
হ্যা, এটা সত্যি যে আপনি অংকটা সমাধান করতে পেরেছেন কিন্ত তারপরেও আপনি প্রতিযোগিতা থেকে পিছিয়ে যাবেন কারন এইভাবে অংকটা করতে যে সময় লাগবে ততটা সময় আপনি নিতে পারবেন না।
Layer 3: এই অংকটা ১০ সেকেন্ডে করা সম্ভব যা আপনাকে প্রতিযগিতায় টিকিয়ে রাখবে। ধরাযাক, ঢাকা থেকে কুমিল্লা যাওয়ার গড় গতিবেগ ছিল ৩০ কিলোমিটার = x এবং কুমিল্লা থেকে ঢাকা আসার গড় গতিবেগ ছিল ৪০ কিলোমিটার = Y
গড় গতিবেগ = ২xy/(x+y)
২.৩০.৪০/(৩০+৪০)= ২৪০০/৭০= ৩৪.২৮৫ কিলোমিটার/ঘন্টা
দেখলেন, কত কম সময়ে এইভাবে অংকটা সমাধান করা গেল। যা আপনার efficiency rate কে আরও বাড়িয়ে তোলবে। তো আজ এই পর্যন্তই থাক। সবাই ভাল থাকবেন।

আমাকে অনেকে বলেছেন যদি সম্ভব হয় তাহলে mathematics নিয়ে কিছু লিখার জন্য। আসলে mathematics practice এর জন্য অনেকে অনেক বই অনুসরণ করি। হ্যাঁ, এতা অবশ্যই ভাল attempt.কিন্ত সমস্যা টা অন্য জায়গায়। আমারা অনেকে বইগুলুর solution গুলু কে absolute মনে করি। আসলে আমরা যদি একটু চিন্তা করি যে এই অংক টা আর অন্য কোনভাবে solution করা যেত কিনা? অথবা অন্য উপায়ে solve করতে গেলে কি সমস্যা হত? এ ধরনের অভ্যাস যদিও একটু time consuming কিন্ত এ ধরনের attempt আপনার চিন্তা শক্তিকে আর ত্বরান্বিত করবে। আপনার IQ level এর উন্নতি হবে এবং আপনার rate of response increase করবে। আগামিদিন আর কিছু examples সহ কিছু লিখার চেষ্টা করব। be happy and just think outside of the box
