We are delighted to share that both Sukanya Mandal ma'am's poem "The God Particle" and Rafiqul Islam sir's prose "Of Students" have been featured in the December 2025 issue (Vol. 6, Issue 3) of Literary Cognizance: An International Refereed/Peer-Reviewed E-Journal of English Language, Literature, and Criticism.

It is a proud moment for the entire R. P. Shaha University community, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations to them. We wish them continued success in their academic and professional journey.

The Thesis Defense Session at the Department of English was successfully conducted, where Honours and Master’s students presented and defended their research under the guidance of esteemed faculty. 🎓 😃

We deeply mourn the passing of Fatiha Tasleem Deeha, a graduate of the 23rd batch and currently a Master’s student of the Department of English, R. P. Shaha University.

We extend a heartfelt condolence to her family and may the Almighty grant her departed soul peace and forgiveness.

Her Janazah prayer will be held today, 26 November, Wednesday, at 10:00 AM at Paikpara Boro Moshjid.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.

The 24th batch performed A Midsummer Night's Dream as part of their academic presentation, under the guidance of Anisur Rahman Chowdhury Sir.
The students presented the play in a comic manner, aiming to highlight the humorous elements of Shakespeare’s work while also demonstrating their understanding of the text. Their enthusiastic performance, combined with creative interpretation, made the presentation enjoyable for both the audience and the participants.

So many memories, so many faces, one unforgettable fest. ❤️

Good news for all the students of our department!
RPSU has already signed an MoU with the management of Spectrum International University, Malaysia. As part of this academic collaboration, we are going to arrange a week Student Exchange Program at Malaysian universities for RPSU students.
