Brief History of B.M Union High School
Since the actual history of century old B.M union High school has not been preserved properly. But it can be assured from different sources that it was first founded in 1900 A.D at the place where the water purification factory is situated at sonakanda. As it was established due to the initiative of the people of Bandar and Modangonj,it was named B.M union High school. Teaching method of the school
The education year has been divided into

For giving equal importance of the whole education year, the result is declared making merit list according to obtained total marks from three terminal examinations. Main Features of the school

** Regular arrangement for inter class debate, recitation, music, acting and publication of wall magazine.

Co-Curricular activities:
Scouting: A well arranged scout team has been built in the school for making the students self confident and benevolent. Every year 24 students are included scout team from class 06. Games and sports:
Apart from annual sports here are football,cricket and volley ball. In Upazila and inter school sports competition, the students of this school gained creditable result. Literature and culture:
Regular debate and oral presentation are held among the students of the school. As a result it becomes easier than in participation and success in inter school,national and television debate Besides wall magazine is published in different memorable days on music,recitation,drawing etc. Science laboratory:
