An overwhelming privilege for us, the final-year Pharmacy students of R. P. Shaha University, to visit Essential Drugs Company Limited (EDCL) (3rd plant) under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Apurba Kumar Barman Sir, Associate Professor & Dean, along with Sheikh Maimuna Hasan Ma’am, Head of the Department of Pharmacy, Muaj Ibn Sahid Sir and Marjana Alam Emu Ma’am.
The warm hospitality and remarkable professionalism of the EDCL personnel left an indelible impression on us. Exploring Production, QC, QA, Warehouse, Manufacturing and HVAC provided invaluable practical insights and bridged the gap between theory and industrial practice.
Truly an unforgettable milestone of our final-year journey.

A day of science, creativity, and hands-on learning in the Department of Pharmacy! 🧪🌸
As Batch 20 of the Department of Pharmacy, we had the opportunity to prepare cold cream as part of our Cosmetology Lab course, working together in three groups. Each group explored different variations of the formulation, focusing on colour, fragrance, texture, and presentation.

The practical was conducted under the guidance of Maimuna Hasan madam, Head of the Department of Pharmacy, making the experience even more valuable and insightful.
From formulation to final presentation, this practical was a wonderful blend of pharmaceutical knowledge and creativity. 🤍

The program was enriched by inspiring speeches and warm words from our respected Maimuna Hasan ma'am (Head of the Department), Dr. Apurba Kumar Barman Sir (Dean of the School of Life Sciences and Health), Dr. Md. Tariqul Islam Sir (Controller of Examinations) and our esteemed faculty members, lab assistants and one of our distinguished alumni, who shared valuable guidance, experiences and encouragement for the journey ahead.

An advanced microscope was inaugurated in Lab Room 109 by Honorable Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Manindra Kumar Roy Sir and Mr. Mahavir Pati Sir, Member of the Board of Trustees.The ceremony was graced by the Dean of the School of Life Sciences and Health, the Head of the Department of Pharmacy, the Controller of Examinations, other Deans from various faculties, head and faculty members from different departments.This milestone marks a significant step toward enriching the quality of education and research at the university.

একই দিনে অধ্যাপক ড. মোহাম্মদ আব্দুর রশিদ স্যারের সভাপতিত্বে ফার্মেসি কাউন্সিল অব বাংলাদেশ আয়োজিত সিলেবাস-সংক্রান্ত একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ মতবিনিময় সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। সভায় ফার্মেসি শিক্ষার সিলেবাসের বিভিন্ন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয় নিয়ে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা করা হয়।

এতে সিলেবাস, অ্যাক্রেডিটেশন ও এডুকেশন কমিটির সদস্যবৃন্দের পাশাপাশি দেশের বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সম্মানিত চেয়ারম্যান, ডিন এবং অন্যান্য বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিবর্গ উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

the Semi Auto Biochemistry Analyzer to our laboratory.✨ This instrument performs quantitative biochemical analysis of blood, serum, plasma, urine, and other fluids. It uses photometric measurement and automated calculations, making diagnostics faster and more reliable.📌 With this new arrival, Room 109 now houses a powerful set of instruments

Digital Colorimeter – Measures absorbance/transmittance of light to determine solution concentration.

Digital Photo Colorimeter – Uses optical filters to measure absorbance at specific wavelengths.

Semi Auto Biochemistry Analyzer – Automates biochemical parameter analysis in biological fluids.

Binocular Compound Light Microscope (OPTIKA) – Magnifies cells, tissues, and microorganisms for detailed observation.
