Industry: Pharmaceutical
We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional to join our International Marketing team.
Key Requirements:
✅ 2–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a pharmaceutical company
✅ Strong computer skills, especially MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email and internet research
✅ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
✅ Practical knowledge of international shipping and export documentation
✅ Familiarity with PI, commercial invoice, packing list, LC/TT, Incoterms, freight forwarding and customs procedures
✅ Ability to communicate and negotiate professionally with international customers and distributors
✅ Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks independently

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Marketing, International Business, Business Administration or a related field.

The Department of Pharmacy, R. P. Shaha University successfully hosted two meaningful events on September 3, 2026—the Freshers’ Reception Fall-2026 and a seminar on “Scope of Pharmacy Graduates in the Expanding Health Sector of Bangladesh" bringing together our respected authorities, faculty members, students, and alumni for a memorable afternoon.

The Freshers’ Reception was inaugurated through a cake-cutting ceremony, followed by the presentation of gifts to our newly welcomed students,marking the beginning of their journey as part of the RPSU Pharmacy family.

The seminar was further enriched by our esteemed keynote speaker, Mr. Mohiuddin Andalib Sir, Marketing Director of SERVIER Operations in Bangladesh . He shared valuable insights into the diverse career opportunities available for pharmacy graduates within the pharmaceutical industry, highlighting sectors such as Production & Manufacturing, Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), Regulatory Affairs, Research & Development (R&D), and many more.

One of the most engaging parts of the event was the interactive question-and-answer session, where our students actively participated and had the opportunity to exchange their thoughts and queries directly with the keynote speaker.

We are deeply grateful to our Honourable Vice Chancellor Sir for his valuable presence and encouragement. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Dr. Apurba Kumar Barman Sir,Associate Professor and Dean, School of Life Sciences and Health, for his valuable initiative and efforts in making the seminar possible, and to Sheikh Maimuna Hasan Ma'am,Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Pharmacy, for her continuous guidance, support, and leadership.

We are delighted to share that two of our faculty members, Anamika Datta and Marjana Alam, along with one of student Sakib Al Hasan (Batch 18), attended the 1st JURS International Conference on Interdisciplinary Research for Sustainability, Innovation & Global Challenges (JICIRSIGC 2026) held on 29 August 2026.

Their abstract, “Mechanistic Insights into the Antihyperglycemic Potential of Heliotropium indicum L. Leaf Extract: An Integrated In Vitro, In Vivo, and Network Pharmacology Approach”, was accepted for poster presentation at this prestigious event.

Academia–Industry Collaboration | ACI Plant Visit

Today, the Head and Assistant Professor Maimuna Hasan and Lecturer Marjana Alam, Department of Pharmacy of R. P. Shaha University visited the ACI plant, Narayanganj.

They had a valuable discussion with Mr. Muhammad Zahid Al Beruni, Director, Operations, ACI, focusing on academia–industry collaboration, regular in-plant training, one-day industrial visits, and career opportunities for our alumni.

Mr. Al Beruni was exceptionally humble, warm, and sincere. He spent considerable time sharing his valuable experiences and motivational insights with us, making the discussion truly enriching and inspiring.
