"Of" একটি preposition। এটি সাধারণত দুটি noun-এর মধ্যে সম্পর্ক বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। �

মালিকানা বা সম্পর্ক বোঝাতে (Possession)

কোনো কিছুর অংশ বোঝাতে (Part of a whole)

কোনো কিছুর ভেতরে (Inside)
The book is in the bag. (বইটি ব্যাগের মধ্যে আছে।)
She is in the room. (সে ঘরের মধ্যে আছে।)

For একটি preposition। এর কয়েকটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ব্যবহার নিচে দেওয়া হলো—
কার জন্য (benefit/purpose)
This gift is for you. (এই উপহারটি তোমার জন্য।)
I bought a book for my daughter.
উদ্দেশ্য বোঝাতে
This pen is for writing.
We use a watering can for watering plants.
সময়কাল (duration)
I have lived here for ten years.
She studied for two hours.
কারণে (reason)
He was punished for cheating.
Thank you for your help.
বিনিময়ে (exchange)
I bought the bag for 500 taka.
He sold his bike for 50,000 taka.

"To" ইংরেজিতে একটি খুব গুরুত্বপূর্ণ preposition এবং infinitive marker। এর প্রধান ব্যবহারগুলো হলো—
১. কোনো ব্যক্তি বা স্থানের দিকে (Direction)
I am going to school.
She went to the market.
অর্থ: দিকে / তে
২. কারও কাছে বা কারও জন্য (Recipient)
Give the book to Rahim.
I wrote a letter to my friend.
অর্থ: কাছে / উদ্দেশ্যে
৩. সময় বা সীমা পর্যন্ত (Time/Limit)
It's ten minutes to five.
We work from 9 to 5.
অর্থ: পর্যন্ত
৪. Infinitive (Verb + to + Base Verb)
এখানে to-এর পরে verb-এর মূল রূপ (base form) বসে।
I want to learn English.
She likes to read books.
৫. তুলনা বা সম্পর্ক বোঝাতে
I prefer tea to coffee.

৬. ফলাফল বা পরিবর্তন (Change)
