Introducing Our Ad-hoc Committee for 2025–26

The Economics Club of Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University (JKKNIUEC) proudly announces its newly formed Ad-hoc Committee for 2025–26 — a team dedicated to continuing our mission of empowering young economists and fostering intellectual excellence.
Guided by our motto — “Supplying Knowledge on Demand” — this new committee will work with renewed energy and vision to strengthen academic engagement, research culture, and leadership within the JKKNIU community.
InshaAllah, we will strive to exceed your expectations and take JKKNIUEC to new heights of achievement and impact.

We are Happy to share that the seminar titled “Economics: Pathways to the Future” has been successfully held! The session was filled with insightful discussions, thought-provoking ideas and inspiring guidance from our honorable speakers and respected faculty members.

A heartfelt thank you to all the distinguished guests, respected teachers and enthusiastic students for making this event a grand success. Your active participation and valuable contributions made the seminar truly meaningful and memorable.

অর্থনীতি বিভাগের সহযোগী অধ্যাপক মোহাম্মদ তানজিল হোসনের সমন্বয়ে সামাজিক বিজ্ঞান অনুষদের ডিন অধ্যাপক ড. বখতিয়ার উদ্দিনের সভাপতিত্বে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত থাকবেন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক ড. জাহাঙ্গীর আলম। এছাড়াও বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত থাকবেন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কোষাধ্যক্ষ অধ্যাপক ড. জয়নাল আবেদীন সিদ্দিকী।

উক্ত অনুষ্ঠানে কিনোট স্পিকার হিসেবে মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্র থেকে অনলাইনে যুক্ত হবেন International Food Policy Research Institute, Washington , USA( IFPR))এর সিনিয়র রিচার্স ফেলো অধ্যাপক ড. সুরেশ বাবু, ইমেরিটাস অধ্যাপক এ টি এম নুরুল আমিন (Asean Institute of Technology ) ও Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS) এর Director General অধ্যাপক এনামুল হক।

উক্ত বিভাগের সহযোগী অধ্যাপক আলফারুন্নাহার রুমার স্বাগত বক্তব্য ও সহকারী অধ্যাপক মোহাম্মদ শফিকুল ইসলামের ভোট অব থ্যাংকস প্রদানের মাধ্যমে সেমিনারটি সম্পন্ন হবে।

আয়োজনে : অর্থনীতি বিভাগ, জাতীয় কবি কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়।

অদ্য ২ জুলাই ২০২৫, রোজ বুধবার, অর্থনীতি বিভাগ কর্তৃক আগামী ১৫ই জুলাই অনুষ্টিতব্য সেমিনারের স্বেচ্ছাসেবক কমিটির প্রথম বৈঠক অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। উক্ত সভায় অর্থনীতি বিভাগের সহযোগী অধ্যাপক মোহাম্মদ তানজিল হোসেন স্যারের সভাপতিত্বে সেমিনার সম্পন্ন করার নিমিত্তে ৩টি টিম গঠন করা হয়।

Please note that students from the Economics Department are automatically included as members of our club, ensuring a diverse and comprehensive representation of our academic community.
